Kurichya hunting tribe of Kerala practiced untouchability even with Brahmins! Brahmin's presence would pollute them. They used to cleanse themselves with cow dung after they came in contact with Brahmin! They were also trusted soldiers of great Pazhassi Raja. Madras Census 1891:
