Farmer with polio in both legs does the impossible make Banaskantha district become the largest producer of pomegranate in the country.-
 

Differently-abled pomegranate farmer receives Padma Shri award :-Genabhai Patel (52), a pomegranate farmer from Sarkari Goliya village in Lakhani taluka of the district, has polio in both legs but he did not let it become a hurdle.

For his huge efforts to make his drought-hit village in Banaskantha district become the largest producer of pomegranate in the country. He has been awarded Padma Shri in 2017.
