She reminds us of the fact that all of us her own form. a burning splinter when left to rest will develop a film of ash over it. After a while the jeevan looks as if its extinguished and is ash. But when we start blowing air on it, the soot, ash flies off and starts glowing - as if its swayam prakaasa.

 

Devi is away from this outer cover of avidya or impurities like tamo gunam, aanava malam etc. so she is very pure and swayam prakAsa. meditating / contemplating on this nama will make us blow off the soot and ash covering our soul and make us swayam prakaasa, like her. like mother - like child. child carries all characteristicsm of other. all v need to do is try grow and evolve like her. one day our energy will merge with her energy, when we become that "Nirmalam" - devoid of the malams or mental impurities.
