[www.keralites.net] The Repudiation of Meaning!

The Repudiation of Meaning!

Words, when they get embedded as feelings and become part of the internal hormonal communication, become meanings. They trigger other feelings—positive or negative. A positive trigger can easily change into a negative trigger if used by a person for indefensible purposes and when he is hypo-critic. The words which may give only positive or even missionary and idealistic meanings/feelings, can become curses, words for derision, words for lampooning...to the person who has developed hatred for the society in which he lives. He feels suffocated, his very capacity to breathe happily, breathe and Pranayama that makes him venture into the world-spiritual, divinely, into the ultimate meanings gets stifled. His cells do not cooperate and coordinate with each other. They fight among themselves. He continuously heckles in relationships, using very sublime and positive words to change them to give negative meanings and feelings.

On the other hand a person, who is very happy in the society in which he lives, can feel only positively even when he comes across negative words. His hormonal system changes poisons into nectars. The most trying situations cannot remove the innate smile that continuously propels him. He becomes the Bhaktha---one who devotes his life into the inquiry into the ultimate, the meaning and purpose of life, of the creation, of the universe, of the Multi-verse---his life becomes a pleasant verse. He becomes the ultimate musician whose musings become pleasant music. He adopts symbols that propel him into the spiritual investigation, saffron etc,who uses his breathe to investigate into the invisible spectrum in which there are no words in any language, as all languages have words only that refer to the things visible in the visible spectrum. The life of a great Bhaktha is Bhakthi-yoga, a life of continuous thought and investigation, a life of attempts to feel one's oneness with the Universe in its continuous met morphosis.

A Bhaktha cannot afford to be negative, as it goes against his very noble core.Bhakthi; Bhakthi-yoga and the striving Bhaktha have an accumulation of thousands of years of positivism, spiritualism, the spirit of inquiry into the very depths of positive experiences which change into feeling filled meanings. Those are the emanations of our wonderful heritage, the reason for pride in India and as Indians. An Indian who uses these words for negative meanings, is a patient suffering from self repudiation, self deletion, attempting continuously to escape from self. I personally do not want to be called a Bhaktha, because I have not even reached even the first step in that great height. To become a Bhaktha is my ambition, but I may not be able to achieve that ultimate height. But, thank God, I am not suffering from self repudiation.
