Suprabhatam: It is one of very old songs - and like I said in one of my earlier communication,
some of my readers probably were not even born or too young to project full meaning of
this song. It applied to the titch, which I will explain little later:
"Dane Dane pe likha hai, khhane wale ka naam,
Lene wale Crore, dene wala ek Ram!
After having been widowed for over a year, and wanting to have my independent life, I rented (within 5 minutes or
say two miles radius of my son's residence), I got lucky and got invited to eat with a Panjabi family - Arvind and
Monique - viola - both husband and wife are very very good cooks and they cooked delicious meals. It so happened
that it got repeated in two subsequent days, so my taste buds got awakened and I asked my very close friend and
a very good and a well wisher - Kiran Pandaya - who also happens to be an extremely good cook - to make me some
of my favorite dals - Maash (Black) aur Moong (Green), which he did. He also cooked some rice - boy - I have a sister
who happens to be a extremely talented rice cook, and my heavenly abode wife, who had learnt from my sister, while
we were in Kabul - Afghanistan, and she too became a equally good Rice cook - but Kiran's Rice cooking really surprised
me - his Rice were AAA professional and Deeeellllicious - and it has been a very long time that I have not had such good
cooked rice. Any way Kiran Jee made both the dals delicious and brought me more than a half plastic (yogurt) container -
and I ended up eating those dals over one week period of time - YES total of six servings - my taste buds can not stop
blessing Kiran Jee. Any way, why did I remember the above song - because yesterday Kiran Jee came to my home (My door
bell is broken so I could not hear him come), he tried to call me on the phone twice - but I was so involved with one of the financial
institution on the phone, that i did not dare to interrupt that call, so I thought I will call him a bit later - guess what?-I missed the
opportunity to taste some more rice and channa that Kiran had cooked and brought for me. So these songs are not just songs,
they are very much alive and applicable - (Un chawlon aur chano pe mera naam nahin likha thaa, so mujhe nahin mile).
Sorry to distracts you from the subject matter. Here are some unique (to me they are) picture wall papers of Indian life and history -
which I want you to pay attention to and enjoy.
Jai Bharat! (Mr. Wadhawani, one of my unknown, unseen and unheard from friends wrote in one of his communique that many of
Non-Hindu Indians do not sing along Indian National Anthem - I say that is a shame-may be true but a a shame)
