[www.keralites.net] Home Is Wherever I'm With You Wedding Style

This "Home is Wherever I'm With You" wedding style photographed by The Cannons Photography, is as adorable as anything I've seen. Not only are the turquoise and gold details downright perfect, but the large and oh-so-cute dog named Finn, in my opinion, makes the whole shoot even better. And the blush gown is absolutely on point. I love everything about this shoot!

From the photographer:
Our inspiration for "Home is Wherever I'm With You" stemmed from the simplicity and romance of a relaxing evening snuggled up in a warm blanket on the couch. A wedding day is one of the most romantic days of a couple's life, so why not incorporate that comfortable, homey feel on a wedding day as well?
Home is where so many of our life's memories are created and kept for generations. By bringing the comfort and details of home to your wedding day, you can start and end with a beautiful picture of the mere fact that you and your spouse are creating a new home together.
To create this idea, we used elements that provided for gorgeous wedding decor, but could also realistically be incorporated into a couple's future home. There is nothing better than using wedding keepsakes in your home to serve as a reminder of the beauty of the wedding day.
We balanced both old and new elements to provide a feeling of classic nostalgia to modern romanticism. We created a calming and tranquil color scheme and paired it with decor that reflected elements of a relaxing home. We blended the industrial farmhouse look along with soft touches of beautiful glamor and added natural elements of flowing greens and romantic florals. Incorporating pops of teal and blush to a softer, neutral palette created a beautiful yet relaxing color scheme that perfectly tied together the comfort and relaxation of home with the right amount of classic glamor.
The shoot took place at The Piggery at Anna Dean Farm, a 100+-year-old brick and mortar barn managed by the Barberton Historical Society. Unlike many wedding barn venues that you see today, the white walls and airy windows provide the perfect clean canvas for creative inspiration to come to life! To help add a cozy feel to the starkness of the space, we created vignettes that included a lovely picture gallery wall complete with a beautiful seating area, along with a "dessert dresser" featuring warm cookies and cold milk, a treat for a cozy night.
The gallery wall included quotes and simple graphics that emphasized the theme of "With you, I am home," and captured the spirit of love of a shared on their wedding day and throughout their life together. We used a variety of accent pieces ranging from a vintage fan that you might find sitting on an end table in your home, an old blush scale, and, of course, cozy throw pillows and blankets to create a comfy cozy atmosphere.
We paired these vignettes with beautiful decor and pops of color to bring in some elegance that every bride dreams of on her wedding day. These elements provide a balance of classic nostalgia mixed with modern romanticism. For example, we love the fact that vintage brooches are so often used on wedding days to incorporate special family memories, so we used them thoughtfully throughout our vignettes: the sparkling arrangement on the gallery wall, the cookie cake toppers, and scattered delicately throughout the bride's lush bouquet.
The ceremony space included a vintage door with the quote "Home is Wherever I'm With you" in the center. We created a simple space with gorgeous floral arrangements and hanging greenery to make the space truly elegant. We love the idea that a front door is a secret witness to so many of life's simple moments at home- performing marriage vows in front of one seemed to be a beautifully poetic accent.
We love the feeling of home that milk and cookies evoke, so we wanted to take it one step further with a DIY naked cookie cake.We made multiple giant cookies and layered them with delicious buttercream to create our naked cookie cake, and topped it with an assortment of gorgeous keepsake brooches. These pins carried through to the bride's bouquet as well as the tablescape, and the gallery wall! We chose a stunning vintage blush gown for our bride, which both complemented the overall color palette and also provided a pop of contrast to the overall stark white venue.
We chose to keep the groom's look casual but polished. He wore a tan jacket complete with light teal stripes to provide harmony with the soft color scheme. A soft gray overlay adorned with a ruffled table runner covered the table and completed the look with a mini chocolate chip cookie cake at setting. The cookie cakes were topped with a small vintage rose brooch to pull in a modest but beautiful detail: Brooches are a beautiful way to use family heirlooms and classic jewelry to add a special touch to any wedding day. The table numbers were nestled in frames to bring an at-home look to the table.
The florals included beautiful stems of Peony, Clooney ranunculus Hanoi (blush), Majolica and snowflake spray roses, Polo and Amelia roses, lilacs, blooming eriostemon, Queen Anne's lace, lisianthus, sweet peas, hyacinth Carnegie, tulips Mondiel and Honeymoon, hellebores and hydrangeas. They were paired with a beautiful variety of greenery including wax flowers, nagi, guneye and silver dollar eucalyptus, tree fern, sword fern and flat fern, lemon leaf or salal, plumosa, dusty miller, and sage. One of our very favorite details of the day was our dog, Finn. He is an Irish Wolfhound and stood about 3 feet tall on all fours. Complete with a beautiful floral necklace he was full of character and love! What better way to perfectly portray the comfort at home than with a man's best friend!
