It is not as one sided as described.
Ask a child who gives it food! It answers 'mother' though it is the man who brings home the rice, vegetables, milk, meat, fruits, cooking gas, electricity, water, plates, vessels, dining table, home and a thousand things that go into making food and in which the housewife plays little or no part.
Ask the child who bathes it and dresses it up and it answers 'mother' though it is the man who pays for the dresses and the soap and water etc needed for keeping everyone well groomed. In addition the man has to go through the mental trauma of accompanying the wife on her shopping sprees when she turns the textile shop upside down for a handkerchief.
Also when we take into consideration the great contribution made by the housewife we do not take into consideration the great emotional returns she gets.
Thus the mother breast-feeds the child at her husband's expense and get all the emotional returns therefrom which lasts the lifetime of the child whereas the husband is often an outsider as far as the child is concerned especially if the husband works far from home such as the thousands of men in the army or in the gulf. The emotional returns the wife gets from waking up at 5 in the morning and going to bed at 10 in the night is worth the extra work.
When the emotional returns are considered the mother often gets almost 90% of it while the father often gets just the left-overs. So the housewife is not a martyr as depicted by feminists.
Men are nowhere near women when it comes the gift of the tongue. Girls start speaking early and in marriage they nag no end leaving men far behind. In exasperation men takes to what he is best at - violence and subsequently he has to take all the blame whereas the wife pretends to be an angel who has just lost her way and ended up here.
It is because of the better deal the wife gets in life that women outlive men the world over.
Man and woman are complementary like the two sides of a coin. It often looks like man is the head-side of the coin whereas all things considered he is just the tail-side of the coin destined to play the second fiddle in the long run after his retirement when the children are grown up and are in the driving seat. If you consider other mammals it the male of Homo Sapiens who has to take up so much responsibilities for so little returns; and after all that he is called a male chauvinistic pig.

Yes, Being Housewives do not need Certificate of Study, even High Position, but their ROLE/PART is very important!Appreciate your wives. Because their sacrifices are uncountable. This should be a reminder and reflection for all of us to understand and appreciate each others roles.
