A great mind is one that is neither ancient nor modern; it is neither ashamed of the old nor afraid of the new. It thinks neither in terms of old traditions nor in terms of new fashions. It is only concerned with the true and the workable.
-

There are men whose presence seems to radiate sunshine, cheer, optimism. With them you feel calm and rested and restored, in a moment, to a new and stronger faith in humanity. -

Work is the grand cure for all the maladies and miseries that ever beset mankind–honest work, which you intend getting done. -

. Conquer thyself. Till thou has done this, thou art but a slave; for it is almost as well to be subjected to another's appetite as to thine own. -
Do not judge men by mere appearances; for the light laughter that bubbles on the lip often mantles over the depths of sadness, and the serious look may be the sober veil that covers a divine peace and joy.

Have patience with all things, but chiefly have patience with yourself. Do not lose courage in considering your own imperfections but instantly set about remedying them–every day begin the task anew. -GOOD MORNING FRIENDS..
