140 foreign students from 40 countries imbibe yoga, ayurveda and Bhartiya values in Patanjali Yogpeeth- Baba Ramdev ashram 

Th e group performed yagna at Patanjali Yogpeeth on March 5 and afterwards did yoga exercises with Pujya Swamiji. In the inaugural session, Pujya Swami Ramdevji Maharaj, Shredhyey Acharya Balkrishnaji Maharaj associated them with the glory of Indian culture and values. Finally, the students and the guests visited the diff erent cells of Patanjali Yogpeeth including Ayurveda research centre, Patanjali Herbal Food Park and others and felt pride of getting such an opportunity. Th e participants said that it is our good fortune that we got the opportunity to spend time with the personalities, who have brought massive change in the world propagating yoga, ayurveda and swadeshi.

Patanjali Research Foundation to work on the world's biggest research study for obesity control

Yogrishi Pujya Swami Ramdevji Maharaj told that in the available research studies, conducted at the global level, barely 100-150 people were involved but this Patanjali's research study will be based on around 8000 people. 

Patanjali will cooperate in the Madhya Pradesh's ayurvedic and herbal research
 Madhya Pradesh is a state rich in agriculture and herbal produces and its Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan in search of probabilities in the area of ayurvedic and herbal research, visited Patanjali Yogpeeth. He met Pujya Swami Ramdevji Maharaj and Shredhyey Acharya Balkrishna ji Maharaj and discussed to provide fresh glory to Madhya Pradesh in the area of ayurveda and herbal production, making herbal medicines and bio-farming impressive so that more employmentrelated opportunities are generated. He also talked of bigger role of yoga and ayurveda for the healthy and prosperous life of the people and employment generation from the whole exercise. 

A day-long workshop on cancer held under the aegis of Patanjali University

Professor RP Singh: In the daylong Cancer workshop, Professor RP Singh of School Of Life Science JNU said that today, a new initiative is taking place in Patanjali i.e. linking ayurveda with life science. He informed that in diff erent research, we have reached to the conclusion that in the decoction of various medicinal plants, anti-cancerous elements are present, which includes aloe vera, Ctenophora Cardiophora, withania somnifera and grape seeds extracts. Professor Singh said that according to World Health Organization, by 2020, in the developed countries over 70% people will be cancer aff ected. But bringing change in the life style and daily routine could give some relief.

DU students take oath of `Swadeshi`
Scores of students of Delhi University reached Patanjali Yogpeeth to meet Yogrishi Swami Ramdevji Maharaj and took pledge of swadeshi. Th e students visited diff erent cells of Patanjali Yogpeeth, including Patanjali University, Patanjali Medical Sciences and Research Institute, Acharyakulam, Patanjali Yogpeeth hospital and others. Th e members of the team said that the Patanjali Yogpeeth campaign inspires us to think something in the interest of the country and the universe. He said that today, Swami Ramdevji Maharaj and Acharya Balkrishnaji Maharaj have taken yoga, ayurveda, swadeshi and seer culture to a new height at the global level. Th e students recognized that Swamiji and Acharyashri are power of inspiration to the youngsters. Th e students said that with the help of most humble medicinal plants, yoga and swadeshi; they are making the society healthy and generating employment for the youths. Th e duo is also igniting fi re of patriotism among the millions of people, which is appreciable.
