Scent of your Silhouette

Harmandir Sahib, Oh Temple of the Lord!
The abode of Truth, the One, the Absolute...
Beyond the glitter of the gold and duty,
Is the glory of your subtle grace and beauty!

Bathing in the waters of the transient mind,
Under this Karitkey fullmoon shine...
I'm scrubbing away the residual veils of ignorance,
Until inner noise settles and I dissolve in your omnipresence.

Your name and kirtans penetrate my heart as I seek you,
Awakening this person to remembrance of Self.
Grace descends, Waheguru! Ek Aumkar resounds,
As the scent of your silhouette emerges from the field beyond bounds!

"Ask no more questions my child, 
Seek no more answers from a separate divine.
Simply make the 'higher choice', at every step,
Until you are absorbed into freedom beyond time, space depth!"
