രഹസ്യസ്വഭാവമുള്ള, അന്വേഷണവും കണ്ടെത്തലും ആവശ്യപ്പെടുന്ന ഏത് ആഖ്യാനത്തിനും സാമാന്യമായി ഈ പേരു ചേരും.
Whodunnit എന്ന സ്പെല്ലിങ്ങും നിലവിലുണ്ട്. രണ്ട് n ന്റെ ആവശ്യമില്ല എന്നതാണ് നിലവിലെ അഭിപ്രായം.
