Good point. I look at the price increase of vegetables from a different angle and am happy about it. Every salaried employee gets annual increments and pay increases on promotions. Labour forces increase their wages almost every month, now a unskilled labour demands Rs. 600 and a mason charges Rs. 900 a day. But what increase the farmer who feeds you is getting. Often his produces are sold less than his production cost and some times weather plays havoc destroying his produces. When the wages of every one increases every one is happy and congratulate the govt, but when the prices of the fruits and vegetables go up hell is let loose and every one cries foul and accuses the Govt. of being inefficient. But I appreciate the price rice as I feel that this is the time the farmer the only person who does some productive work gets some increase in his income. Any one joins me?

  ഉള്ളിയുടെ വില കേട്ടാല്‍ തന്നെ കണ്ണീരു വരും.പച്ച മുളക് തുടങ്ങി എല്ലാ പച്ച്ചക്കരികളുടെയും വില പതിന്മടങ്...ങു ആയി വര്‍ദ്ധിക്കുന്നു... അസഹ്യം ആയ വില കൂടുന്ന വാര്‍ത്തകള്‍ വരുമ്പോള്‍ സോഷ്യല്‍ നെറ്റ് വര്‍ക്ക് തൊഴിലാളിയും കേരളത്തിലെ പാര്‍ട്ടി തൊഴിലാളികളും നാട്ടിലെ ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക്‌ മുന്നില്‍ പാവപ്പെട്ട എന്ന ഒരു പദം കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ത്തു നില വിളിക്കാറുണ്ട്.പതിനഞ്ചു ശതമാനം ജനം മാത്രം ആണ് കേരളത്തില്‍ ഫ്ലാറ്റുകളില്‍ താമസിക്കുന്നത്. സ്വന്തം ആവശ്യത്തിനു വേണ്ടി ഒരു മുളക് ചെടിയോ, ചീരയോ, വേണ്ടയോ വഴുതിനയോ, പാവ്ലോ, കോവലോ, വെണ്ടയോ മുരിങ്ങയോ കുഴിച്ചു വയ്ക്കരുതോ? സാധാരണ പറമ്പില്‍ വിളയുന്ന പച്ച വാഴയ്ക്ക, പപ്പായ, നാട്ടില്‍ വളരുന്ന ചീര, വാഴ്ത്തണ്ട്, വാഴ കൂമ്പ് തുടങ്ങി ഒന്നും മലയാളി കഴിക്കില്ല. അവനു വേണ്ടത് മാരക വിഷം തളിച്ച തമിഴ് നാട് പച്ചക്കറിയും അമേരിക്കയില്‍ നിന്ന് വരുന്ന ആപ്പിളും ആണ്. സമരങ്ങള്‍ നടത്താനും സിന്ദാബാദ് വിളിക്കാനും കട അടപ്പിക്കാനും മാത്രം ആയി ജീവിക്കുന്ന ഒരു സമൂഹം ആയി മാറിയോ നമ്മുടെ നാട്ടുകാര്‍.
