'Job Status Correction Fair'
at Riyadh Exhibition Center: June 22-26, 2013
The Embassy of India is participating in the 'Job Status Correction Fair' being organized by Riyadh Chamber of Commerce at the Riyadh Exhibition Center at King Abdullah Road in Riyadh on June 22-26, 2013. The Embassy of India will open a stall at Hall Number 4 of the Exhibition Center from June 22-26, 2013 from 8 AM onwards.
A significant number of eligible Indian workers have already availed the job opportunities offered by more than 200 companies which have approached the Embassy during the last two months. The Job Status Correction Fair is being organized to give a chance to those who could not avail the job concessions announced by the Saudi authorities. Indian nationals who have not corrected their job status till date are urged to avail this opportunity at Riyadh Exhibition Center. They are required to visit the Exhibition Center after 8 AM on June 22 with a copy of their passport and Iqama or Entry Visa.
At the Indian stall, documents of those wanting to obtain new passports to avail Tanazul facility will be checked at the counters. They can submit applications for such passports at the Riyadh VFS outsourcing centers at Umm Al Hammam and Batha in Riyadh and such passports will be issued on priority within three working days. The VFS outsourcing centers at Umm Al Hammam and Batha will operate throughout the week including Thursdays and Fridays (till July 3, 2013) for Tanazul related passport work. However, they can initiate the process of Tanazul based on the copy of their passports.
Shri Surinder Bhagat, Second Secretary (Political Commerce) and Shri Abdu Sharief, Marketing Assistant at the Embassy of India will be coordinating the Indian Stall at the Exhibition Center.
