Re: [www.keralites.net] What is Caption's duty?

I did not say that the priests of all religion do not deserve any support. I still believe that, they should have supported the rescue  operation by consoling the people in distress /worries/fear. When we are in problem, worry is the biggest enemy and if we are couraged, it is a great help to the rescue operators and themselves. Abraham

You comments definitely gives a wrong signal Mr. Abraham. It is NOT the question of saving Mullah, Priest 0r Pujari or whether they deserve any help from any body. The question is, in the time of crisis like this the Governments of Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh & Chathisgarh have well arranged all sorts of help including airlifting the stranded promptly to help the people of their States. Why should these State Government ignore their people in the name of humanity & help others. Atlast even these sanyasis or pujaris were helped by the local MP of Jharkhand in the name of humanity and definitely NOT the Government of Kerala. So please do not be carried away by the  misconception that Mullahs, Priests & Pujaris do not deserve to get any help or their life do not carry any value in the society and they are bound to die.

I just cannot agree to Mr. Abraham's arguments.

Gangadharan Nair.
