മലയാളത്തില്‍ ആദ്യമായി ശിരോവസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ച വാര്‍ത്ത അവതാരക നിലവിലുള്ള ഡ്രസ്‌കോഡ് സങ്കല്‍പങ്ങളെ അട്ടിമറിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് മലയാള ടെലിവിഷനില്‍ ആദ്യമായി ശിരോവസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ച സ്ത്രീ വാര്‍ത്ത അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു. നേരിന്റെയും നന്മയുടെയും വേറിട്ട കാഴ്ചകള്‍ എന്ന തലവാചകത്തില്‍ ഇന്നലെ സംപ്രേക്ഷണം ആരംഭിച്ച മീഡിയവണ്‍ ചാനലിലാണ് ഹുസ്‌ന റസാഖ് അവതാരകയായി പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടത്. മീഡിയ രംഗത്തെ ഡ്രസ്‌കോഡ് എന്ന മിഥ്യാധാരണയുടെ പേരില്‍ ഇതുവരെ ഒരു മലയാളചാനലും ശിരോവസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ച സ്ത്രീകളെ വാര്‍ത്ത അവതരിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ തയ്യാറായിരുന്നില്ല. മുസ്‌ലിം സ്ത്രീകള്‍ക്ക് തങ്ങളുടെ സ്വത്വം നിലനിര്‍ത്തിക്കൊണ്ട് തന്നെ മാധ്യമരംഗത്ത് ക്രിയാത്മകമായി ഇടപെടാന്‍ ഇതുവഴിയൊരുക്കുമെന്നാണ് പ്രത്യാശിക്കുന്നത്.
