In contrast, foods that are higher in fiber and low in sugars and starches can help to lower your blood sugar. As a nonstarchy vegetable that's high in water and a source of fiber, cucumbers might play a role in lowering your blood sugar.
Carbohydrates and Blood Sugar

A 1-cup serving of cucumber provides only 0.9 gram of starch and 1.7 grams of sugar. According to the American Diabetes Association, nonstarchy vegetables like cucumbers have little potential to cause a boost in your blood sugar. In addition, a 1-cup serving of cucumbers provides 0.5 gram of dietary fiber and only 16 calories. As the University of Illinois Extension suggests that eating 20 grams of fiber for every 1,000 calories can help to lower your blood sugar, eating cucumbers can help increase your fiber intake without significantly boosting your caloric intake.
Water Content
When your blood glucose levels are too high, water plays an important role in flushing excess sugar from your body. As over 95 percent of a cucumber's weight is water, cucumbers can help lower your blood sugar levels by helping increase your water intake.

Today, I am going to talk about Adult Acne ! Many people ask me
about natural suggestions for treating skin imperfections, and acne!
They expect me to tell them about external creams and lotions that
they can apply to repair the skin. However, I firmly believe, that
you need to cleanse yourself internally, before you can do something
outside !
Clean your gut, to Clean your Skin - Period !
Are your intestines working properly ? Clean your intestines, get
them to purge and expel waste, so that your skin becomes healthier
as a result of that detoxification !
When intestines or gut-health is in a bad shape, then all toxins
get accumulated within the body, and these toxins are forced to come
to the skin for elimination, causing Acne.
What can you do to improve your skin ?

a) Avoid milk and dairy products for a while,
and focus on fibre-rich foods. Sugar can also cause gut-inflammation
b) Drink lots of water. Pinch your skin on the hand and it bounces
back, then you are drinking enough. But, if the skin looks like a
"tent" after your pinch, then its lost its elasticity and you need
to drink some more water.
c) Treat acne spots with Tea-tree oil. Juice up a cucumber, add
enough milk to wash your face, and rinse with lukewarm water.
d) Use a natural/herbal blood purifier or detoxifier. My suggestion
is Neem or Triphala. Both are gentle detoxifying agents.
Triphala is known as the mother of all herbs !

THE WORLD IS MINE
Today, upon a bus, I saw a very beautiful woman and wished I were as beautiful.
When suddenly she rose to leave, I saw her hobble down the aisle.
She had one leg and used a crutch. But as she passed, she passed a smile.
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine.
I have two legs; the world is mine.
I stopped to buy some candy.The lad who sold it had such charm.
I talked with him, he seemed so glad.
If I were late, it'd do no harm And as I left, he said to me,
"I thank you, you've been so kind.It's nice to talk with folks like you.
You see," he said, "I'm blind."
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine.
I have two eyes; the world is mine.
Later while walking down the street, I saw a child I knew
He stood and watched the others play, but he did not know what to do.
I stopped a moment and then I said, "Why don't you join them dear?"
He looked ahead without a word. I forgot, he couldn't hear.

I have two ears; the world is mine.
With feet to take me where I'd go..
With eyes to see the sunset's glow.
With ears to hear what I'd know.
