Battling against recurring acne can be an uphill task, especially because of the amount of money you end up spending on the right face wash and toner for your sensitive skin. Instead of shelling out a lot of money on expensive toners, here's how to make one with basic kitchen ingredients – organic apple cider vinegar, green tea and peppermint essential oil. This home remedy has proved to be very effective for me in getting clearer skin and preventing future acne breakouts! Here are ten reasons why you should use peppermint essential oil.
Here's how it works
Apple cider vinegar helps balance the natural pH balance of your skin by clearing away excess oil and opening the pores. Green tea is packed with antioxidants and also has anti-inflammatory properties that can help soothe your skin and reduce redness. Peppermint oil has strong anti-bacterial properties to fight against pimples and prevent bacteria from spreading. Here are 6 home remedies to get rid of acne scars.
What you need
A large cup of green tea made with two tea bags
Organic or raw apple cider vinegar
An empty spray bottle
5 drops of peppermint essential oil or tea tree oil
Method
Once you have brewed the green tea, set it aside and allow it to cool down. After that, fill 3/4th of your spray bottle with green tea and add 1/4th of that portion of apple cider vinegar. Then, add not more than five drops of peppermint essential oil or tea tree oil to it. Tightly close the spray bottle and mix well. You can spray your face with this homemade toner twice a day. You could also use a cotton ball to apply this toner. Here are 5 face packs for acne you could try at home. Make sure to refrigerate this toner so it lasts longer and has a cooling effect on your face. Here's another easy home remedy to banish pimples

 Help Your Child Cope With Stress and Anxiety

Stress and anxiety are, unfortunately, a big part of this modern era. many of us may experience anxiety every day, but it is important to remember that many of our children experience it too. They may feel that they have too many commitments, clash with their peers, or feel that they do not live up to your expectations, all of which can make them anxious. Although it is normal for children to be stressed about something, it's important to control their anxiety as much as possible.

Here are some ways to help your children manage their stress levels that will make their lives, and your lives, much easier.
stress

1. Don't Overschedule

Much of the time, we will do anything in our power to keep our children busy so that they don't sink into a spell of boredom. Yet as a result, many parents overschedule activities and events for their kids, when in fact all the child may need is a bit of downtime.

According to many child psychologists, having too much on their plate is actually one of the major stressors for children. Kids really do need downtime to rejuvenate their brains and bodies to stay focused and ready for whatever's next. It is best to try and get your kids to spend their downtime away from the television or computer, because this is just further stimulating their brains. Try reading a book with them or sitting down to play a family game - these kinds of activities will help them feel relaxed and at ease.

2. Playtime Is Important

Just as over-scheduling can be dangerous for a child's stress levels, so can forced play. Forcing them to play will make them feel stressed or even make them feel like an annoyance.

With smaller children, it is easier to remain disengaged from their playtime and finish what we need to get done. However, as they grow, it is important that the parent become more involved in the child's playtime as they need that extra encouragement. Try going for a bike ride with your child after work, or finding a sport that you both enjoy and can pursue together. Also, there shouldn't be a lesson at the end of the playtime, so that the child does not get stressed out by the competition.

3. Get Your Rest

While this is probably not news, a good night's sleep is essential for keeping children feeling relaxed and ready to take on the day. It may be that your child is not getting enough sleep because they are oversburdened with too many sports practices or birthday parties, so it is important to put your foot down and demand that they get their rest, even between fun activities.

Unlike us adults, it is recommended that children get about 8-9 hours of sleep each night, so even if they aren't ready, try and get them to bed before 9 pm. It's also a good idea not to allow a television or other electronics in the child's room that will stimulate and keep them up at night. Encourage them to read a book (or read to them) until they fall asleep.

4. Help Them Listen to Their Bodies

Stress is not only apparent in our mental states, but is also clearly expressed in how our bodies function. Some of the most common signs of stress in children are constant stomach aches (which should be checked by a doctor to make sure they aren't ulcers), repeated headaches, and even extreme eating patterns of over or under eating.

If your child experiences these symptoms of stress, explain to them that the body reacts to heightened stress and that they should be aware of their bodies. This means regularly seeing a doctor when needed, and making sure they eat healthy, energizing foods full of vitamins that will keep them alert and healthy. In general it is best to cut out the junk entirely.

5. Keep a Hold On Your Stress

This tip may be obvious to some, but your stress levels play an important role in your child's anxiety levels. If you are feeling stressed and begin to express it, your child may soon start to feel anxious and confused. If you thought that kids don't pay attention to your state, when you were wrong.

If you are an impatient parent that tends to be stressed out, it is important to try and collect yourself when you are in front of your child. Raising your tone or acting too stressy will discourage your kid from discussing their problems and sharing things with you, which could have a serious detriment on your relationship.
stress

6. Wake Up to an Uncluttered Household

Mornings are generally the most stressful time in every household, as the parents need to ready the kids (most of the time) as well as ready themselves for the day ahead. If the house is cluttered, that may also make you and your children feel stressed in the morning. A famous phrase - An uncluttered house leads to an uncluttered mind. Same goes for your children, even if they seem to relish the clutter.  So try and schedule cleaning duties for evening times.

7. Mistakes Happen

One of the hardest lessons for kids to learn is that they, like every other human being, makes mistakes. The thought or idea of making a mistake can haunt some children and stress them out. It is important to remind them that no one is perfect and that not everyone knows how to do everything right.

Make an effort to teach your children about good decisions and give them the confidence that they are on the right path. If you are over-critical with your children, they may begin to develop anxious behavior, which can backfire later on. So relax and don't fret over spilled milk.

8. Listen To Your Child

When your child expresses a feeling or wish, no matter how outlandish or non-relatable, make sure that you address it. Ignoring your child or belittling what they have to say will make them feel nervous or stressed.

Open your ears to your child's comments and feelings, and even try to get them to express the way they are feeling or what they have to say in different ways. This will trigger your child's desire to express and give them a feeling of peace in that they know that they have someone to talk to, and someone who will listen.
stress

9. Patience Really Is a Virtue

Although you've heard it a million times, when it comes to raising children, patience really is a virtue. It may hurt your or even stress you out to see your child anxious and unsettled, but that is exactly that your child does not need to see. Don't try to fix every problem, but instead, try to help your child become a solid problem-solver.

The battle against child and adolescence stress can be a tough one, but truly the most important advice we can give you is to be patient and teach coping strategies that will help your child manage their stress now and in the future.

What is Dry Hair:

Dry hair occurs when your hair does not receive enough moisture. This reduces its sheen and can make your hair appear frizzy, lifeless, and dull. Dry hair can affect men and women of any age. When oil and moisture escapes your hair, it becomes dry and lacks the sheen and soft texture you desire. The moisture level of the body should be 80% for the hair to be in good condition.

When the hair is in good condition with good porosity the cuticle layer holds the hair tight and the hair does not look dry. But, when the hair is in a bad condition with bad porosity the cuticle layer loosens the hair and the hair looks dry.. If the body's moisture level is good the hair does not become dry.. Our hair needs a lot of oils for it to remain in good condition.

Dry Hair Symptoms:

Hair symptoms may accompany other symptoms, which vary depending on the underlying disease, disorder or condition. Symptoms that frequently affect the hair may also involve other body systems.

Dry Hair Causes:

* Strong shampoo
* Wash hair excessively
* Dry or hot weather
* Swimming spending more time.
* Excessive use of Dryer
* Spending more time in open areas
* Hair color treatments too often
* High level of minerals in local water supplies
* Low Quality Hair Products
* Not washing Hair when it needed

Dry Hair Home Remedies:

* Get regular hair trims every 6-8 weeks to trim off the spilt ends.
* Cut back on blow drying.
* Mix one spoon of vinegar to water and rinse hair. It makes the hair shiny.
* Lemon juice act like a natural moisturizer for hair. Take a mug of water and mix some lemon extract to it. Now wash your hair with it right after applying a shampoo.
* Shampoos containing harsh chemicals can make the hair dry. This is why you should go for mild herbal shampoos which are prepared from all natural ingredients. They clean the hair gently and you get normal silky hair over a short period.
* Use daily conditioners and even better, use a leave in conditioner as well.
* Use Boars hair brushes. These distribute oils better throughout the hair, down the hair shaft.
* Make a hair pack with some almond or olive oil mixed with egg yolk. Apply this pack on your hair and leave it till dry. This will moisturize the hair and reduce dryness if used regularly.
* Keep use of heating products to a minimum if possible. And always use a styling product that specifically protect hair during heat process.
* Use products that don't contain alcohol.

[www.keralites.net] Re: [TheBecoming] PM NARENDRA MODIJI TO ANNOUNCE NEW HEALTHCARE SYSTEM TO BE INTRODUCED IN INDIA ON INDEPENDANT DAY

It is good to have a health card. But I am also of the opinion that instead of having a passport, an Adhar, An Income tax card, a health card and so many other cards it is best that the number of cards be reduced to one or two.

[www.keralites.net] Re: [dalit_edu] Re: [aryayouthgroup] IS ISLAM A RELIGION OF PEACE? - DR. ALI SINA

All religions pay lip service to peace. But once they have the political power they resort to violence. Thus Budhists now resort to violence in Sri Lanka, Thailand, Myanmar and other countries where they have the political power to do so. Jainism may not have resorted to violence since they did not have the power to do so. Sikhs resorted to violence right from the beginning though they may have been forced to do so.
I think that all the religions of the world were tribalistic in nature and when they preach peace it means peace to the members of their own tribe but not to others.

Is there any religion that promotes peace?
Manusmrithi is full of discrimination and violence towards Sudras and women. Parsuram was a violent man who went around with his axee and killed the kshatriyas 21 times.
The Ramayan and the Mahabharath are epics of unprecedented war and violence.
So much for the Hindu scriptures.
Then there were historical figures like Harsha, The Mauryas, the Marathas, the Sikhs, The Gurkhas and so forth who lived by war and violence.
The Bible is full of unprecedented violence and so are all the scriptures.
So before you point your fingers at Muslims look inwards.

Is Islam a Religion of Peace? Dr.Ali Sina

The truth is that Islam is not a religion of peace; it is a religion of hate, of terror and of war.

Islam, as it is taught in the Quran (Koran) and lived by Muhammad as it is reported in the Hadith (Biography and sayings of the Prophet), is a religion of Injustice, Intolerance, Cruelty, Absurdities, Discrimination, Contradictions, and Blind Faith. Islam advocates killing of the non-Muslims and abuses the human rights of minorities and women. Islam expanded mostly by jihad (war) and forced its way by killing the non-believers. In Islam apostasy is the biggest crime punishable by death. Muhammad was a terrorist himself therefore terrorism cannot be separated from the true Islam.

Muhammad lived a less than holy life. His lust for sex, his affairs with his maids and slave girls, his pedophilic relationship at age 54 with Aisha, a 9-year-old child, his killing sprees, his massacre and genocide of the Jews, his slave making and trading, his assassination of his opponents, his raids and lootings of the merchant caravans and unarmed villagers, his burning of trees, his destroying the water wells, his cursing and invoking evil on his enemies, his revenge on his captured prisoners of war, his torturing of his captives for greed

Quran tells Muslims to kill the disbelievers wherever they find them (2:191), murder them and treat them harshly (9:123), slay them (9:5), fight with them (8:65), strive against them with great endeavor (25:52), be stern with them because they belong to hell (66:9) and strike off their heads; then after making a "wide slaughter among them, carefully tie up the remaining captives" for ransom (47:4).

As for the women, the book of Allah is emphatic that they are inferior to men and if they disobey their husbands, the latter have the right to beat them (4:34). Their punishment for disobeying their husbands does not end there because after they die they will go to hell (66:10). The Quran emphasizes the superiority of men by confirming that men have an advantage over the women (2:228). It not only denies women‟s equal right to their inheritance (4:11-12), it also regards them as imbeciles and decrees that their testimony is not admissible in the court of law unless it is accompanied with the testimony of a man (2:282). This means that a woman who is raped cannot accuse her rapist unless she can produce a male witness. Muhammad allowed the Muslim men to marry up to four wives (although he himself had a score of them) and gave them license to enjoy their "right-hand possessions" (women captured in wars), as many as they can capture or afford to buy (4:3), even if the woman is married before being captured (4:24). The man who called himself the holy Prophet and a "mercy of God for all beings" did just that. Jawairiya, Rayhana and Safiya were beautiful young girls who were captured when he raided the tribes of Banu al-Mustaliq, Qurayza and Nadir. The prophet slew their husbands, fathers and their male relatives and let his men rape them while he kept the prettiest for himself and raped her in the same day while they were still in the shock of the loss of their loved ones.

Islam is a cult created by a psychopath. It cannot be reformed. It must be eradicated.

Islam must go because it teaches hate, it orders killing of nonMuslims, it denigrates women and it violates the human rights. Islam must go not because it is false, but because it is destructive, because it is dangerous, because it is a threat to peace and security of humankind. With the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction in Islamic countries, Islam has become a serious and a real threat to the survival of our civilization. In order for you to appreciate the evilness of Islam, let us choose a few verses of the Quran and switch the words "Muslim" and "non-Muslims" and see how they look: - We will cast terror into the hearts of Muslims. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them. 8:12 - Let not the non-Muslims take for friends or helpers the Muslims. 3:28 - Rouse the non-Muslims to the fight against Muslims. 8:65 - Then fight and slay the Muslims wherever ye find them, 9:5 - Fight the Muslims, and God will punish them by your hands, cover them with shame. 9:14 - ye the non-Muslims take not for protectors your fathers and your brothers if they love Islam. 9:23 - Ye the non-Muslims! Truly the Muslims are unclean. 9:28 - Ye non-Muslims! Fight the Muslims who gird you about, and let them find firmness in you. 9:123 - Therefore, when ye meet the Muslims, smite at their necks; at length. 47:4

What makes Islam dangerous is not because it is a religion, but because it is not. Islam is a thief in police uniform. The agenda of Islam is entirely imperialistic and political, but its modus operandi is religious. It is this disguise and duplicity that makes Islam unpredictable and dangerous.
