1. Vision of the future: Plans to transform the City's iconic Gherkin building to 'The Penguin' could see a giant bird
towering over Londoners this summer. Bosses at ZSL London Zoo commissioned a production team to draw up a dramatic
redesign of the famed skyscraper to remind visitors to the capital not to miss their penguins in 2012.
They plan to approach city bigwigs with the bold concept of turning the prominent Swiss Re Building - more commonly known as
The Gherkin - into a giant penguin.

"My pet cat sucks the dog's milk each day for the past three years. I guess he is addicted to it. I bought the dog 10 years ago,
and the cat was given by a relative three years ago. When the cat came in it was so small and thin that I let it suckle the dog's milk.
However, the cat got addicted to it and suckles dog's milk even when it has grown up".

12. A Koi carp with markings that look like a map of Britain has been discovered after being imported from Japan.
The uncanny map was noticed by Geoff Wishart, 62, who is head of koi carp at Romsey World of Water in Hampshire.
13. A British zoo is celebrating the arrival of a rare pigeon chick which stands out from the usual species that swarm the streets.
The Victoria Crowned Pigeon will grow to twice the size of its rather plain relative and will grow an impressive crown of feathers.
The chick is now being cared for by proud first-time parents Violet and Ozzy at Colchester Zoo.
