A Thought Provoker: Why Your Diabetes Is Not Your Fault.....And what you can do to undo it!

A FWD MAIL

Perhaps you not only suffer from diabetes...
...but you also suffer from guilt.
When I talk to people with diabetes, that's what they tell me.
That they feel guilty.
They have the feeling that they somehow "did it to themselves".
Well, I have good news.
News that may relieve you of that "diabetic guilt".
But let me give you fair warning...
Once you learn what I'm about to share, you will have a responsibility to do something about it. Because you can clean up this mess, which I am convinced was not of your own making.
If you're willing to keep reading, then what you are about to learn may shock you.
Now, the big news is, it's not your fault you're diabetic...
"THEY" Did This To You!
First, let's talk about who "they" are.
"They" are what I refer to as the Big Pharma- Big Food Industrial Complex. And make no mistake, they are out to get you.
These Big Pharmaceutical companies, and their Big Food counterparts, have worked together to create the "perfect storm"...
... The "perfect storm" that allows them to keep pumping your body full of their toxic chemicals and their diabolical food additives, that render you addicted to both.
And they even figured out how to get your doctor to reinforce the addiction.
Mark my words, just as we have discovered that cigarette companies purposefully indoctrinated and addicted people to their deadly products, the same is true of Big Pharma and Big Food.
Here are the 3 Ways these twin entities of evil work to make you diabetic, and keep you that way:
    1. First, they addict you to bad food. From an early age, you are indoctrinated (by their advertising and marketing) to eat food that causes your pancreas and your blood sugar regulatory systems to malfunction. If you don't believe this is true, just watch television ads targeted toward young children. Almost all of it is about sugary snacks, beverages, and cereals. Think!
    2. Next, they pump addictive chemicals into your food that create physical addiction. That's right, they add chemicals that are addictive. They add sugar to their hamburger buns. They add high fructose corn syrup to beverages and other "foods", so that your body never feels full, but meanwhile your pancreas is thrown into chaos. You can't stop eating. You can't stop drinking sodas. And you feel guilty because of your lack of "willpower". It's like they secretly pumped your food full of heroin, and then condemned you because you couldn't stop eating it.
    3. Finally, your doctor is on their payroll. Now, to be fair, most doctors don't realize it. But much of their medical training is overtly or covertly funded by pharmaceutical companies. Companies that have a vested interest in perpetuating the lies about how diseases like diabetes begin, and the lies about how to treat them. Pharmaceutical companies that have every interest in keeping you busy pumping your body full of Metformin, insulin, and other chemicals they manufacture and sell.
And the worst part is, the chemical "solutions" the drug companies provide you with... often carry worse side effects than the disease itself.
So if that's what the greedy food corporations and drug companies have for you - what's the alternative?
Attack This Problem Naturally
There's no reason for you to be sick the rest of your life... to fall for this "terrible trifecta" the drug companies and food companies have prepared for you.
There's no reason at all ....because now you can activate your body's own healing systems and restore the balance you've lost.
Get your blood sugar under control once and for all, the natural way.
The secrets of truly healthy living... with no dangerous drugs and their chilling side-effects.
Looked for a better way  you can lower your blood sugar and keep it right where it needs to be... simply by combining the right healthy foods - no harmful drugs or dangerous "poison pill popping."
As incredible as it sounds, EAT HEALTHY to help keep you healthy, happy, energetic and alive... for many years.
And absolutely break free of your artificially-created addictions, once and for all.
Taking drugs designed to lower your blood sugar while simultaneously eating foods designed to raise it... just doesn't make sense, does it?
But that's what "they" want you to do.
AND, finally, if you need a safe, natural and healthy way, and have'nt found one yet, mail me back. Maybe I can be of help more than you can imagine, with my last 13 years experience and dealing in globally recognized nutrition solutions !

Suryanamaskar is more than weight loss

Suryanamaskar can do to your body what months of dieting cannot. And it can do to your mind what no spiritual discourse can.

Not surprising, the world is going crackers over this ancient yogic tradition of worshipping the rising sun. What with the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Victoria Beckham and Kareena Kapoor endorsing it over gym workouts and bizarre diets.

From improving your posture, strengthening muscles to whittling extra inches around the waist, the benefits of Suryanamaskar are many, provided you adapt it the right way. A set of 12 fixed, cyclic postures define Suryanamaskar which when performed repeatedly at an easy pace can bring a sense of well being, almost immediately. However, those with a heart condition, arthritis or slip-disk, need their doctor's consent before starting the routine. Suryanamaskar's surging popularity notwithstanding, jumpstarting a schedule is most definitely not the best thing to do for a
fitness novice. If you have been gravely out of form in a way that you haven't stretched your muscles in ages, first give your body some time to open up, which you can do with some flexibility and stamina-building exercises before embarking on the more arduous 'Suryanamaskar'.

And once your body has registered a certain fitness level, you can begin with a set of three Suryanamaskars in the first instance and increase it to five then ten and more depending on your stamina. Anymore than clocking up numbers, it is important to get each posture right, for the very essence of this yogic ritual lies in perfecting every move. To say the least, it can be an uphill task for beginners. But our expert-backed warm-up exercises are sure to make Suryanamaskar less strenuous and ever so graceful.

1. Neck:
Breathe in while you turn your neck to the right and breathe out as you come back to the starting position. Again, breathe in while turning your neck to the left and breathe out in the centre. Repeat this movement thrice. Rotate your neck first clockwise and then anti-clockwise.

2. Arm and shoulder:
Stretch your arms out in front of your chest and move your palms up and down, then sideways. Further on, rotate your fist clockwise and anti-clockwise. To relax your arms, place your palm on your shoulder and move your shoulders first clockwise then anti-clockwise.

3. Knee:
Bend forwards with your palms resting on your knees, join your knees and move forwards and backwards. End the routine by rotating your knees clockwise and anti-clockwise.

4. Stomach and back:
Interlock your fingers over your chest and slowly raise your hands upwards while you breathe in and stand on your toes. Return to Position 1 as you breathe out. Repeat this cycle three times.

5. Legs and waist:
Stretch your legs wide in standing position, touch you left toe with the right hand, then the right toe with the left. Keep your knees straight while you do so. Repeat a few times.

By now your body is suitably warmed up to begin the Suryanamaskar routine. Here is a step-by-step account of the 12 postures. Don't try this routine on a mat, you are better off on the bare floor or on the grass.

Posture 1#
Stand erect, ideally facing the morning sun. Fold your hands in prayer close to your chest and chant 'Om Suryadevaya Namah' thrice.

Posture 2#
With your hands together raise your arms up in the air while you breathe in. Bend over backwards forming an arch from the hands to your feet. The flexibility of the spine is ensured in this posture.

Posture 3#
Bring your hands down while you breathe out to touch the floor on either side of your feet. In this posture, it is imperative to keep your knees straight as you bend forward from the waist, and your head as close as possible to the knee. This posture helps melt the excess fat around the stomach by aiding digestion.

Posture 4#
While breathing in, put your hands flush with the floor and lower your hips and stretch your left leg back, allowing it to balance on your toes, and your right leg bent in a crouching stance. With your hands firmly on the ground and your arms straight as a die, raise your head upwards to face the sky. This one is for the flexibility of spine and leg muscles, and boosts immunity from diseases.

Posture 5#
As you breathe out, let your hands stay firmly on the ground and push your right leg back parallel to the left. Make sure your feet firmly touch the ground and your hip raised high. With your arms and knees straight lower your head to face your navel.

Posture 6#
Hold your breath as you bring your hips down while keeping your hands and feet in the same position, and stretch your whole body near the floor. With your face downward, bring your chest and knees to lightly brush the floor, and hold your hips slightly high. At this juncture, 8 points of your body are touching the floor - your palms, forehead, chest, knees and toes.

Posture 7#
This posture is a mere extension of Posture 6, in that you breathe in and straighten your arms and lift your chest upward in an arching stance, and your head thrown back facing the sky. Your arms, at this point, carry the weight of your body, with you knees and toes resting on the floor.

Posture 8#
Bring your body back to Posture 5 by raising your hips and lowering your chest and head. Keep your arms and knees straight while you do so, and place your feet flush with the floor. Then lower you head to face your navel.

Posture 9#
As you breathe in, return to a similar position as Posture 4, only this time you will be crouching on the left knee and stretching back your right leg. Place your hands firmly on the ground, and with the weight of your body on your arms move your chest forward and arch your head up to face the sky.

Posture 10#
From here, flow back to Posture 3 while keeping your hands flush with the floor and bringing your right foot side by side with your left one. As you straighten your knee, raise your back to arch in a standing position with your head as close as possible to the knee and your hands on either side of your feet.

Posture 11#
Take a deep breathe and raise your arms up in the air as you straighten your back and gradually bend over backwards, akin to Posture 2. Your knees stay straight all the while.

Posture 12#
Bring yourself to Posture 1 from here with your hands folded before your chest in prayer, and your spine erect, your knees straight and your eyes shut in meditation.

With Posture 12 you complete one full circle of Suryanamaskar. From here you can flow back to Posture 2 to continue the routine. However, always follow up your Suryanamaskar regime with Savasana, better known as Corpse Pose. In this posture, you lay down on the floor with your legs and arms apart, your palms facing the sky, and eyes deep shut. Breathe in and out heavily and try to focus your thoughts on something happy. Stay on this way for a few minutes and you will feel a sense of calm run down your body like a drug.

Weight loss is just one consequence; you can so much as put your life together with this ancient yogic tradition.

14 Fruit and Vegetables You Don't Have to Buy Organic!

Many people choose organic produce in an attempt to exclude foods grown using pesticides from their diet, worrying about the potential health risks these can pose. But there is one major drawback to organic produce, its incredibly high price. Still, in many cases the premium price is a worthwhile tradeoff, as long-term exposure to certain pesticides was associated with cancer and fertility issues, and residues of these chemicals do tend to seep into the foods they were processed with, even when you wash or peel them.

Luckily, that's not the case with all fruits and vegetables, as some contain more pesticide residues than others.. Every year, The Environmental Working Group (EWG) creates a ranked list of common foods low and high in pesticides, based on yearly USDA testing of both locally-grown and imported foods. Below we list the latest one of these rankings, featuring 14 foods with virtually no pesticide residue.

1. Avocados

Avocados rarely contain any pesticides, even if they're not grown organic, that's why they're first both on our list and the EWG list for years on end. The reason for this is the thick hard skin these veggies have that doesn't let any pesticides seep into the pulp.

2.. Asparagus
Click here to join World Malayali Club

Asparagus is a delicious side dish, but even the non-organic version can be quite pricey, so many people skip this nutrient-rich and delicious food. The good news is that you don't need to buy organic asparagus, as it is one of the rare veggies that has a natural enzyme that can break down some pesticides. Apart from that, asparagus is harvested really fast, around 2 days after it starts growing, so the stalks themselves are rarely exposed to pesticides.

3. Kiwi
Click here to join World Malayali Club

The fuzzy kiwi is an acquired taste, but it's a great source of vitamin C and fiber. Some kiwi samples did end up having small amounts of pesticide residue but mind you that the testing was conducted on unpeeled fruits, so simply washing and peeling the kiwi should make it a  safe choice.

4. Sweet Corn
Click here to join World Malayali Club

Corn is another excellent choice if you're trying to stay away from pesticides, as the fibery silk and husk protect the kernels from exposure to pesticides, which is why the delicious vegetable ranked second on the list. By the way, by sweet corn the study means both corn on the cob and frozen corn, both of which are safe to eat. Keep in mind, however, that some corn is grown from GMO seeds, so if you're trying to avoid GMOs, you should probably still choose organic corn..

5. Frozen Sweet Peas
Click here to join World Malayali Club

Peas might not be the kids' favorite vegetable, but they rarely contain any pesticides. This is because the pods protect the peas from being exposed to chemicals, which is also why snap peas, unlike frozen peas, were found to contain a significant amount of pesticide residue..

6. Pineapples
Click here to join World Malayali Club

Pineapples, be they fresh, canned or frozen, almost never contain any pesticides, as the thick skin they have creates a nonpermeable barrier for the edible pulp. The tropical fruit took the third position on the EWG list, but the environmental allegations against pineapple plantations weren't considered in the ranking, as it's a well-documented fact that pesticides used on pineapple plantations have an adverse environmental  impact and are dangerous to the plantation workers.

7. Broccoli
Click here to join World Malayali Club

Spoiler: you will find many more cruciferous vegetables on this list, not only broccoli, the arch-enemy of everyone's childhood dreams. This is because all cruciferous veggies contain natural pesticide compounds, if you will, called glucosinolates, which make them very unappealing to pests.

8. Cantaloupes and Honeydew Melons
Click here to join World Malayali Club

Both cantaloupes and honeydew melons (the green melons that really resemble cantaloupes) rarely contain any pesticides, as the inedible skin  typically catches all the pesticide residue. Watermelons, however, typically have slightly more pesticides, as their skin is smoother and more permeable. Remember one thing, though, always wash and even scrub down all melons with warm water before cutting up, as the surface of these fruits often harbors bacteria that can cause food poisoning.

9. Cabbage
Click here to join World Malayali Club

Like broccoli, cabbage has those natural insect-repellant compounds in it, which means that farmers typically have to use fewer pesticides to grow cabbage. Still, some farms will use antifungal pesticides on cabbage, so peel off a few of the top leaves of your cabbage before using, just in case.

10. Onions
Click here to join World Malayali Club

All non-organic onion varieties are perfectly fine to use, as very few samples that were tested contained any pesticide residue. Keep in mind,  however, that they looked at peeled onions only, so if you want to use onions with the skin on, which some recipes call for, opt for organic onions. Similarly, green onions are better purchased organic as well.

11. Eggplant
Click here to join World Malayali Club

Eggplants, or aubergines, as they're called outside of the U.S., are a very versatile vegetable, as they are absolutely delicious grilled, stuffed, added into stews or turned into a dip. You don't have to buy organic ones either, as it turns out, despite the fact that their close relative, the tomato, is one of the most pesticide-ridden veggies out there, eggplants aren't, all thanks to their dark purple jackets.

12. Cauliflower
Click here to join World Malayali Club

The last, but definitely not the least cruciferous vegetable on our list is cauliflower. Apart from being my personal favorite of the bunch, cauliflower is also the most multifunctional of the bunch, as it can even be used as a base for pizza and even grilled cheese sandwiches if you're avoiding gluten.

13. Papaya
Click here to join World Malayali Club

This exotic fruit reminds us of a melon, at least visually, and like melons, papayas are rarely pesticide-ridden because of the thick protective skin these fruits have. However, some of the papayas tested were grown from genetically-modified seeds, so if you're avoiding GMOs, opt for organic papayas.

14. Mushrooms
Click here to join World Malayali Club

Buying organic mushrooms is not necessary, as most mushrooms don't require pesticides to begin with. That's because mushrooms are typically grown indoors in a sterile environment, so farmers rarely, if ever, apply any chemicals to help them grow and stay pest-free.
