It is a matter of time before Adityanath and Modi turn on each other. Modi came up the ladder through the Gujarat violence. Adityanath will outdo Modi in violence and then they will come head to head and Aditya has youth and UP on his side. The only way to avoid such a conflict is to turn the nation's fixation with religious and other partisan issues to a fixation with modernization for which democracy is a necessary prerequisite. Anyway we are living in interesting times as far as India is concerned. We are also witnessing a huge turning point of the irrelevance of the Congress party which has been predominating Indian politics from long before the Independence. The world is also turning right probably and it is Islamic fundamentalism that brought us to such a mess. Islamic fundamentalism was fueled by petrodollars. But with oil prices plummeting it is a matter of time before Islamic fundamentalism peters out and the world reverts to a modicum of sanity.
