BRETHREN MEETS WITH ACCIDENT A group of Brethren from BHILAI (CG) on their way back to their mission field (PAKHANJORE) met with an accident this evening. The team of youngsters who were on their way to Pakhanjore from Bhilai were involved in an accident when theirTempo Travelleroverturned. There were eight Brethren in the van at the time of accident including Shefferson Shalu (S/o Evg Shalu T. Ninan), Bro Johnson Thomas (Elder, Brethren Assembly Bhopal), Sneha Mary Johns (D/o Johnson Thomas) and late Lija Thomas among others. The injured were immediately rushed to the nearest Govt. hospital. Sis Lija Thomashad serious injuriesand she was called home to be with the Lord.The Doctors at the hospital has declared her dead. Few months back the family had lost their beloved father K J Joy because of Swine Flu. She is survived by her mother, elder bother Dr. Lijo Thomas & family. The process is on to bring Sis Lija's body back to Bhilai. As of the writing of this message, EVg Samson Ninan and others have rushed to the accident site & is taking stock of the situation. Evg.Shalu T Ninan and few Brethren from Bhilai have rushed and is on their way to the accident spot. More details awaited. |
