A large fire broke out this morning in Al Haram Shopping Center in the Al Naseem district of Riyadh, near Exit 15. The cause of the fire is still not known.
Captain Mohammad Al-Hammadi, Civil Defense spokesman in Riyadh said that they have managed to bring 80 percent of the fire under control and work is still underway to completely extinguish it. He added that 12 field divisions, 10 support units, 5 rescue teams, a helicopter, and an emergency force of the civil defense are working towards the fire extinguishment. No casualties have been reported so far.
Security guards are working towards blocking the roads leading to Al Haram Plaza.
