[www.keralites.net] Rare Rhino takes Amazing Air Journey

Black Rhino given new home

The critically endangered animal makes a portion of its 932-mile relocation by helicopter

The seventh black Rhino population established by the WWF Black Rhino Range Expansion Project, was recently released after an epic 1500 kilometer (932 miles) trip across the country in S.Africa. Nineteen of the critically endangered animals were moved from the Eastern Cape to a new location in Limpopo province.
