You should appreciate that after 4 seasons, Asianet and the other sponsors, and of course those who 'decide the final winner' has zeroed in on the best performer this time. Nobody can deny that Kalpana was the most consistent, and laboured to introduce variety and novelty in all her rounds.
Only the previous day, I happened to watch parts of the final of another reality show in a Tamil channel. The most deserving singer was pushed to the last place just because of SMS. This is not my opinion, but that of several viewers whom I spoke to.
It is an open secret that SMS can be manipulated, and can be 'bought' for a price from those who market this offer. So the less said about it, the better. Also, you can give some weightage to public opinion, but surely the consistency and the performance of the singer on that particular day HAS to be the basis for declaring the winner.
I am sure all will agree.

ചിലപ്പോള്‍ മഹാന്മാരും വിവരക്കേട് കാണിക്കുമെന്നു ഈ അവസരത്തിലെ യേശുദാസിന്റെ പ്രവചനങ്ങള്‍ കേട്ടാല്‍ മനസ്സിലാക്കാം. എല്ലാകുട്ടികളും അവരവരുടെ കഴിവുകള്‍ കാണിക്കുന്നതിന് മുന്‍പ് തന്നെ കല്പനയെ പുകഴ്ത്തിപ്പറഞ്ഞത്‌ ഒട്ടും ശരിയായില്ല. കൂടാതെ കുട്ടികളുടെ കഴിവ് വിലയിരുത്താന്‍ നിയോഗിപ്പെട്ട ജഡ്ജിമാര്‍ ഉണ്ടെന്നിരിക്കെ യേസുദാസിന്നു ഇത് വേണ്ടിയിരുന്നില്ല .... ഈ അവസരത്തില്‍ വ്യക്തി താല്പര്യങ്ങള്‍ മാറ്റി വെക്കേണ്ടതായിരുന്നു. അവരും അവരുടെ കുടുംബവും മുന്‍പ് പരിചയക്കരായത്കൊണ്ട് ഒന്നാം സമ്മാനത്തിനു അര്‍ഹയാകുമോ.......ഇത്തരം എടുത്തു ചാട്ടം പിന്നീട് പാടാനുള്ള കുട്ടികളുടെ മാനസീകനില തകരാരിലാക്കുമെന്നു മനസ്സിലാകാനുള്ള വകതിരിവ് ജഡ്ജിമാര്കെങ്കിലും വേണമായിരുന്നു, ചിലപ്പോള്‍ എല്ലാകുട്ടികളേയും ഒരുപോലെ കാണണമെന്ന് ഇവര്‍ മറന്നത് പോലെ തോന്നി...... ചില ജഡ്ഗിമാരുടെ അമിതാവേശം കണ്ടപ്പോള്‍ വളരെ അരോചകമായ് അനുഭവപ്പെട്ടത് കൂടാതെ ഒന്നാം സ്ഥാനം നേര്‍ത്ത തന്നെ തീരുമാനിച്ചത് പോലെ തോന്നിപ്പോയി. ഭാഗ്യവശാല്‍ കല്പന നന്നായി പാടിയത് കൊണ്ട് തല്‍ക്കാലം രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടത് സ്റാര്‍ സിങ്ങര്‍ പ്രോഗ്രാമോ അതോ പ്രേക്ഷകരോ ?
ഏറ്റവും കുറച്ചു SMS കിട്ടിയ കുട്ടിക്ക് ഒന്നാം സ്ഥാനവും കൂടുതല്‍ കിട്ടിയവര്‍ക്ക് നാലാം സ്ഥാനവും. എന്തൊരു വിരോധാഭാസം!!!!!! അപ്പോള്‍ പ്രേക്ഷകരുടെ എസ്സെമെസ്സിനു തീരെ വിലയില്ലെന്ന് മനസ്സിലാകുന്നു.......ഏഷ്യാനെറ്റിന്റെ ധനാഗമന മാര്‍ഗം മാത്രമാണ് ഈ എസ്സെമ്മെസ് എന്ന് എന്ത് കൊണ്ട് തുറന്നു സമ്മതിക്കുന്നില്ല....
