RE: [www.keralites.net] IPPO SHERIYAAKI THARAM

From the beginning of this debate or discussion, it was very evident that only very few are supporting and justifying the irresponsible actions by the so-called personnel from the national carrier..it really amuses and surprises me, when they do this.

Inspite of the topic being "the talk of the town" , including the various media and the social networking circles since thje past few months,  some are out there still supporting and justifying the AI..       hmm..

Maybe that they are the people who are "directly" or "indirectly" related to / indebted to  / benefitted from the national carrier...Yes, as one of the senior members had commented, "this airlines is meant only for the government personnel and their family members" and not meant for the "hard working common man",  the working class...

Let us not modify the thought processes of those who still feel that "National carrier should not be criticized all the time"...They don't realise that "Air India was once upon a time, the "Maharaja of the sky" and that was the time when this Maharaja did do some real help to the 'stranded Indians' in the gulf during the gulf war.....Now that Maharaja is neither a Raja nor a prince even...what is the use of going on talking about the 'past triumphs' of the national carrier ? it is akin to saying "എന്റെ ഉപ്പാപ്പന്റെ ഉപ്പാപ്പന് ഒരു ആനയുണ്ടായിരുന്നു"..ഇപ്പോള്‍ ആനയും ഇല്ല..തോട്ടിയും ഇല്ല......LOL...

Remember the saying, "we can wake up only people who are really sleeping and not those people who feign / pretend to be sleeping.."

May the almighty bless all,...

sincerely,

Dear Mr. Ramakrishnan,

I value your remarks and the patriotic sentiments expressed in favor of our national carrier.  I had served in Indian army for more than two decades and I had experienced very tough and difficult conditions in various terrains and climates during my service but I was always feeling morally fit and always felt as a proud Indian.  I never thought Indians based on regional divide as South Indian or North Indian etc by virtue of the uniformed service culture as Indian armed forces is the true model secularism prevailing in the country.  By virtue of these sentiments I preferred Air India for my travel for majority of my trips back to India.  But I am constrained to put in writing that the managerial or the staff attitude operating in our national carrier has become little bit arrogant and treating the south Indian travelers as second grade citizens of India and they are the superiors as most of the staff hailing from northern parts of the country.  What is the intention of such an attitude can well be defined by the management and the staff working in our national carriers alone.

After seeing all the visual media reports of the happenings and the irresponsible attitude from the staff by not taking the passengers to the destination where they were supposed to be taken, the ministers and the responsible official hierarchy are supporting the staff instead of carrying out an investigation to see what had actually happened.  Hence, we have no other options left than opting for other airlines if we are planning for a short vacation to meet our family and inescapable functions by leaving aside the patriotic thoughts.  This was purposefully forced on us by the arrogant, irresponsible staff and management of our national carriers.  Since I had experienced the worst services provided by our national carrier, whatever they offer free or promotional offers, I will never like to avail their services in future lying ahead as that much courtesy and hospitality they have shown on us in the past. Please don't take my words against your opinion, but consider it as the feelings of an affected person.

Best regards,

Moideen Kutty Mohamed

It is not proper we  criticize our national carrier all the.time. There are short comings every where starting from ration rice on wards. Being a developing nation inspite of tremendous progress we have made in all fields there are several short comings and we have to bear with it.I am not a spokesman for Man Mohan but having lived else where for years I feel others are any better except some advanced countries in Europe and US.

Closing with Prayers for your well being.

   Hi,Hello,

None forced any to travel on Air India.

But when calamity like Gulf War etc. strikes, private

carriers will look the other way and at that time one has

unfortunately  no alternative but only Air India.  Will people

who want to boycott AI now still do it?
