CP Yashwardhan (John Abraham) heads a team of four fearless officers of the Narcotics Deparment who have sworn to burst the drug racket prevailing in the country. Yash's strength is that he has no one of his own who can become his weakness. Then enters Maya (Genelia) and the two fall in love. Yash is initially reluctant to commit to the relationship but lates gives in. Now, the mastermind behind the drug racket Vishnu ( Vidyut Jamwal) is clear that the weaknesses of these four officers is what will help him win the battle.
John is a complete surprise and gives an exceptional recital. John is given the best role of his career. His expression less face required this kind of a character that has mostly anger on his face and smiles just occasionally. Genelia is strikingly sweet and subdued. As spotted by the tabloids Genelia shed her Girl next door image for Force. Mohnish Behl, Sandhya Mridul are decent enough.
The film has some fairly engrossing moments in the first hour, but there are times when you feel restless. Nishikant integrates the songs well in the movie. Harris Jayaraj as always made his mark with his excellent tunes. Bosco – Caesar choreographed the songs with an ease and provided a visual treat Ayananka Bose moved the camera angles wiping the beautiful scenes making visually appeal .
Overall, FORCE is a mesmerizing story of dispute and the execution of the material makes it stand out in the crowd. The film has vital amount of dynamism and force, so essential for action movies that talk of intrepidness. A perfect package of substance filled with sensible masala.
