The purple, red, and blue in bride Olivia's bouquet are stunning against the yellow and gold fall foliage surrounding her nuptials to Jon and their Brightfield Farms autumn wedding. And even though it rained off and on for most of the day, these two didn't let a little misty water dampen their happiness. Captured by Craig + Kelsey Photography, from Olivia's bright blue shoes to bridesmaids in long gray dresses to the most amazing ceremony arch draped with white silks and ivy, their beautiful day was absolutely perfect. We love Olivia and Jon's proposal story! It was their anniversary, so they went to a Bears game together, then to a fancy restaurant to celebrate. Throughout dinner, they talked about marriage, which Jon said was common for them. They always loved discussing their future together and were excited to one day be husband and wife. After dinner, they walked back to their hotel room together. Olivia went into the other room for a second and returned to see Jon knelt down on one knee. She was ecstatic, but then he announced that he was just tying his shoe. After Olivia had a second to calm down, Jon pulled out a ring and popped the question for real. "It was exactly as I wanted it," he said. Nothing showy or extravagant; it was intimate with just the two of them, and just a bit of humor. How sweet can these two be? Now jump to the big day. Most of the day, we were all hoping and praying the rain would hold off for Olivia and Jon's wedding day. The fall colors were perfect at the beautiful Brightfield Farms in Woodlawn Tennessee. And we were dying to be able to use them in Olivia and Jon's pictures. So we were so grateful for the moments when the rain stopped, or when this awesome couple was amazing enough to get out in the sprinkles for a few shots! They were not scared of a little rain messing up their day, so they made our job a breeze. We have to say, as soon as we got a glimpse of the location for the ceremony and reception, we were positive that this was going to be one of the most beautiful weddings we have had the honor of photographing. And I'm pretty sure we were not mistaken. It was jaw-droppingly beautiful. Every detail was so pristinely put together and looked like an absolute fairy tale. Everything was perfect, and exactly what Olivia and Jon deserved. From the gorgeous table settings to the beautiful floral arrangements and cakes, it was like a dream. And watching Olivia walk down the incredibly decorated aisle towards her palpably in love husband-to-be was the perfect summation of the day. She couldn't hold in the tears as she stepped closer and closer to her groom, and most everyone in the room couldn't either. These two are so clearly loved by everyone around them, and what could be better than that?Photographer: Craig + Kelsey Photography | Cake Designer: The Cake Artist | Hair Makeup: Premier Styles | Venue: Brightfield Farm | Submitted via Two Bright Light |
