What is dysbiosis?
Dysbiosis usually refers to an imbalance of the intestinal flora. A variety of conditions can result from Dysbuisus, most commonly irritable bowel syndrome. Stress can play a major role in upsetting the balance of the intestinal flora. To help alleviate this condition, take probiotics daily.
(Me: probiotics include curd/yogurt)

Blame bad night's sleep on the full moon.
Can't sleep? Blame it on the Moon! Scientists have found evidence that human sleep patterns are timed to the phases of the Moon, and that people take 5 minutes extra to fall asleep and experience 20 minutes less sleep on average during a full Moon.
(Me: It is believed, according to old wives' tales, full moon causes mental problems, too…)

Me: We self-respecting Indians are naturally indignant and peeved at the "unilateral' action. One would think it is the ripe hour for our self-righteous countrymen and esp. for our anti-science NGO lobbies to mount a virulent campaign to force the government and stop import and/or indigenous production of insulin and other diabetic drugs by MNCs or their licensees…!!!! what say u friends?

Turkey clears bird of spying for Israel..
Officials in Turkey have released a bird 'detained' on suspicious that it spied for Israel. The kestrel was found by residents of Altinavya village, Elazig province, wearing a metallic ring stamped with the word "24311 Tel Avivunia Israel. Suspecting that the kestrel, a type of small falcon, may have been on a spying mission for Israel, locals handed the bird over to authorities. Medical examinations, including X-rays, revealed that the kestrel just a bird, not a feathered spy. No microchips were found on it.

A study conducted by Stanford University School of Medicine has revealed that women prefer to date men who can make them laugh. It is believed that ladies use a man's ability to make them laugh as a way to judge his genetic fitness and whether he can be a fitting husband and father of their children.
(Me: More than a man's he-man physique, dapper attire, suaveness or style, what attracts a woman to a man is his humorous streak..)

(One would say this top honour was bestowed on him solely because he received the Nobel prize for God knows what achievement in economics. He has no contribution whatsoever to improve the Indian economy or the poor's lot. Why are we Indians so enamoured of foreign accolades when the man has done precious little? Dr. Kurien of Amul fame deserved the honour a lot, lot more.)
