please do remember that the most of the middle east employed are less educated , less discipline. They are not Educated in IITs .Our IIT ans are not going to arab world , they find the place in western world.
Most gulf malayaleeswill behave like mob in the Calicut airpot . It is not the malayalee problem. And one can find the people making money in illegal ways are from southern air port .
It all inthe game.

YES, I ALSO HAVE FOUND MANY OF THEM CALLING THRU MOBILE IN THE FLIGHTS AS SOON AS THEY ARE ABOUT TO TAKE OFF OR JUST BEFORE LANDING...IT IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS, AS THE COMMUNICATIONS CAN BE DISRUPTED.. IT COULD CAUSE PROBLEMS TO OTHER PLANES TAKING OFF OR LANDING...WE MALAYALIS NEED TO BE EDUCATED IN ETHICS.. UNFORTUNATELY, IN SCHIOOLS, IN SOCEITY, IN RELIGIONS, IN ALL THE VENUES, WE DON'T GET EDUCATION ON HOW TO BEHAVE AND HOW TO RESPECT THE RULES..MAY BE IN THE SCHOOL CARRICULUM THESE THINGS SHOULD BE INCLUDED..* NOT TO STARE AT STRANGERS...* RESPECT THE RULES WHEREVER YOU GO...* DON'T THORW THE LITTER IN PUBLIC PLACES..THE LIST CN GO ON..P.DilipFrom: Thomas Mathew <thomasmathew47@hotmail.com>

Subject: RE: [www.keralites.net] ഞാനൊരു മലയാളിയാണ്I fully agree with the observations of Mr. Raj. I too observed it on my occasional travels from Gulf to Kerala though not a gulf malayalee. It is lack of education and lack of exposure to civilized culture which makes people behave like it. They also do not understand the announcements being made in the flights.I like to narrate an incident told to me by one of the friends just for a laugh. He was in business class on a flight from Gulf to Kerala, on a company paid travel. One 'Rafeque" occupied his next seat being elevated from the economy class. "Rafeque" was not at ease being in an elite company, On being served with meals, he found that that every one was eating with fork and spoon. He successfully used them till he found a biscuit. He tried to use the fork to break it, it did not work. Then he used the knife gently, which too did not work. He could not stand the challenge the biscuit was offering, with all his force he gave a good blow to the biscuit with the knife. The biscuit broke, in to many pieces, one big piece flying from the plate to the lap of a foreigner sitting in the back seat. My friend did not tell the rest of the incident as every one listening to him had started laughing. One thing I noticed in these flights, the Airlines staff realising the class of people they deal with treat them with scant respect.T.
