I too have been working in saudi arabia for the past 8 years. May be once or twice the traffic police have stopped me for checking my license and thats all. In my experience if they see indians driving they usually let them go. I have seen the police checking saudi drivers more. Only when you do illegal things ie drugs or alcohol then they put you in jail.
