The U.S. Library of Congress holds many Amusing cards. Here, for example, is a map of Europe «Geografical fun» for the authorship of a "Aleph" 1868 issue of London publishing house Hodder and Stoughton, where each country is represented by a very distinctive character and escorted funny quatrain. Among other is on the cards and militant, now defunct, Prussia, and Russia - of course with the bears, bearded nobles with vodka and poetic sketch about the kings and eagles. |
