It is a horrible situation.IPL which is not a first class tournamnet and peple, like gladiators just bash aaround for money and match fixing doesn't affect anybody.It is unfortunate that Sreesanth who has been deliberately kept away from first class cricket for non-cricketing reasons is "fixed" in such a case. remember we have seen how Azharuddin has participated in match fixing when India was deliberately made to lose in one of the world cups, (Vinod Kambli sadly reacting and getting thrown out of the team forever-like Sreesanth), no harm ever happened to such real culprits like Azhar or no serious enquiry over the captains' blunder or /trick in Australian world cup when India failed to bat first in a favourable pitch and lost the advantgae and the match and the cup

this fixing that too in an unimportant tournament  ---smells fishy!

Just saw the news on TV - Shreesanth arrested for match fixing!
Whereas I agree that the possibility of match fixing is very real, I simply cannot believe that Shreesanth can be a party to it.
He may volatile, hot headed, etc, but match fixing? Certainly not!
I do not trust Delhi Police at all - these guys will do anything for money - you are all seeing how they hush up rape cases, etc....
Let us hope Shreesanth comes out of this mess....
