Dear Jayakrishnan,

Recently I have visited Vatican.  Nobody will ask you who are you or why you are there.  You have to go through a Security check to Enter into St. Peter's Baslica and pay a fees to enter Sistine Chapel.  You need an Italian or European visit visa to enter into Italy.

Even though I born in a Catholic family, I haven't heard of any such restrictions in visiting Vatican.

People visit Vatican not only as a pilgrimage, but also to see, study, research and enjoy the huge amount of Renaissance artworks in St. Peter's basilica and Sistine chapel.
Former Chief Minister Mr. Nayanaar visited Pope and gave the holy book Geetha
