Tantriks promise treasure, vanish with Rs.22 lakhs…
Mumbai: Between October 2011 and January 2012, a travel agent was duped of Rs.22 lakhs by conmen posing as tantriks who promised to show him the way to hidden treasure trove inside his office. During the period, they performed a series of 'pooja' in the room to "access the treasure". The victim shelled out lakhs in installments for the 'pooja' and ended up losing all his savings.

Economy went into free-fall after Mugabe seized white-owned farms. The move shattered investor confidence, paralyzed production and scared off tourists.
In 2009, Zimbabwe's central bank introduced $100 trillion notes, after printing other absurdly high denomination bills ($100 million, $500 million, $50 billion, $100 billion). But its hyper-inflation meant that the bills were worth only a few US dollars and in some cases a few cents – barely enough to buy a loaf of bread. The country has officially abandoned Zimbabwean dollar, and uses the US dollar.
The high-denomination notes are a hot commodity among currency collectors and novelty buyers..
