Nano taxi from today

 

The first of its kind in the state, Nano cars will take off its call taxi services in the district from today. The service in the name of YESGO call taxi will be carried out by Shifa Travels Ollukara. The nano cars with GPS /GPRS navigator will be available at West fort, Nadathara, Mannuthy, Kutanellur, Nellankara and Anjeri areas during its first phase. The taxi, which has the air-condition facility would ferry the commuters to other states too. The service will be available throughout 24 hours. On an experimental basis, four nanos will hit the road from today. Mayor IP Paul will flag off the call taxi service and Thrissur Corporation Councillor Dr Usman will hand over the first key.
