Akbar forced the Rajput kings to marry their daughters, so that the Hindu kings would succumb to his will and be at his mercy. That makes Akbar a cunning and more dangerous beast, and not the least secular. It is strange that a Christian like you would still think of Akbar as great and secular. Ironically, if you were to live in the lands where the community you are praising is a majority, you would find it difficult to openly practice your religion. What is with you Indian Christians; is there some sort of a nexus between the Muslims and Christians in India, that you constantly support muslim invaders/looters/rapists? People like you tend to glorify such barbarians who were not chosen by us, yet you would not spare any efforts in running down elected leaders of India today. What does that make you and why should we not see you as an anti-national or as a treacherous imposter.
You are also trying to glorify Tipu, by saying that the place he occupied only had 23% muslims. Consider this; prior to that it most likely had 0% muslims. So that is quite a huge change, but not enough for you to call Tipu what he should be called. Also remember that muslim occupiers could never convert the majority of Hindus at any time, not because they were benevolent or did not use the worst kind of force or human rights abuse; but because the Hindus fought back like tigers (be it the Hindus living in Rajasthan/Marashtra/Punjab/Assam, etc.) and often were prepared to die for their religion, than to convert to a cruel & ghastly religion.
Your community people in Goa were no better. Perhaps that's why you are favoring the muslim occupiers. Even if the Portuguese didn't kill 20 million Hindus, they did kill tens of thousands of Hindus simply because they were Hindus who refused to convert and the Christian Portuguese also destroyed hundreds of temples. Isn't that bad enough. But because you are a Christian, you don't see that as awful or terrible and are instead blaming Hindu organizations.
So Vinayakji is right; you are living in a Fool's Paradise, barking at the wrong tree.

If you go to Fatehpur Sikri where Akbar lived, you can see a temple in the palace complex itself. This would not have been so if Akbar destroyed temples. What is more he had Pujari in this palace temple. Akbar also consulted Hindu astrologers on a regular basis.

Tippu is said to have persecuted Hindus to covert them to Islam.. But the Islamic population where he ruled does not bear this out. Thus Srirangapaatanam where Tippu ruled has only 23% Muslims. Tippu operated for considerable period of time in Coimbatore. However the Islamic population there is only 17% It is the same wherever that Tippu went. Muslim populations would have been much higher in areas he ruled if Tippu had indeed forced conversions on Hindus.
You had once stated that the Portuguese had slaughtered 20 million Hindus in Goa in their effort to convert them to Christianity. But when I pointed out that Goa has only a population of 2 million even now and so the Portuguese could not have slaughtered 20 million 500 years ago you kept mum. However that has not prevented you from posting such criminal lies. If spreading such lies and hatred is your Dharma then Keep it up.
