Happy – A State of Mind!
Inline image 1
"I'll be happy if ____", or "I'll be happy when ____". Will you be totally satisfied after your condition is fulfilled.

Are you happy? If not, what is it that you feel you need to be happy? happiness is a state. And, have the ability to access that state at any time we choose.

If you could access happiness anytime you wanted, then you would be doing it."  you will learn could change your life dramatically for the good and forever. Your mind processes information and thinking patterns develop and become semi-permanent.

Most people will think long and hard about changing from their normal behavior. The 'conscious' mind always accomplishes its goal of keeping everything the same. By doing so, it supports a continuation of your current beliefs and everything stays the same. If you believe that you need to have something, do something, or be something to be happy, you'll be right.
No matter what happens around you, you're 'conscious' mind will find ways to support your belief that you can be happy now. you have to make a conscious decision to change the way you think - not only to thinking, but posture, body language, the emotions, feeling. mind is "spinning" and "racing". You teach mind how to control those emotions so that they become positive.

These are words like; should, shouldn't, must, musn't, have to, can't, etc. These words express a necessity, possibility (or lack of), belief, or knowledge that is non-truth-functional; not true in and of themselves. When we put confinements upon ourselves that we "have" to do something, then we feel forced  without options.

When a person fully realizes that they have options and the power to choose, then they live a much happier life. Once a person learns this then they are already happier and can learn to be happy for no reason.  be something, do something, or have something to be happy. You are now free to be like a child of 4-years-old. They just are happy. When their friend hurts them, they cry and,  five minutes later, they are back playing like nothing happened. They have a curiosity that knows no bounds and they get excited and appreciate the little things.

The beautiful thing is that you can have it by remolding your thoughts and thinking patterns.

Kala Bhairava Jayanti 2016 - November 21 (Monday)
Kala Bhairav Ashtami is also known as Bhairav Ashtami, Bhairava Jayanti and Kala-Bhairava Ashtami. It falls on the eighth lunar day of the Krishna Paksha (dark fortnight) in the Hindu month of Kartik. It is a holy day commemorating the birthday of Lord Bhairava, the fierce manifestation of Shiva.

According to a legend the Trimurti i.e. Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Mahesh were discussing as to who was superior of them all. In the heated debate, Shiva felt offended by the remarks made by Brahma and commanded Bhairava to sever one of Brahma's five heads.

Bhairava obeyed Shiva's orders .Thus Brahma became four headed.

Bhairava's sin of Brahmhatya was expiated when he reached the holy city of Varanasi after wandering throughout the world. There are many temples in Varanasi dedicated to Lord Bhairava.

By worshiping Lord Shiva in the form of Kala Bhairava one can get rid of all the misfortune. The devotee enjoys all round success and is exempted from his sins. Lord Bhairava, Shiva and his consort Parvati are worshiped with flowers, fruits and sweets. Dogs (vehicle of Lord Bhairava) are also fed milk and food. Dead ancestors are remembered and offered oblations on this day.

The Shaivites take ritual bath in the morning and perform Puja. Devotees fast throughout the day and perform Jagaran at night. Kaalbhairav Katha is recited by the devotees. They also perform Bhairva Aarti at midnight along with traditional musical instruments. A huge function is organized at Bhairav Prasad Temple in Vaishno Devi every year. In Varanasi lots of cultural programs and prayers are observed.

KAALA BHAIRAVA ASHTAMI – Jayanthi:-

Bhairav Ashtmi Katha

As per another legends, once Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma argued about being more powerful than one another. The argument heated up to such a level that Lord Shiva had to organize a meeting comprising of saints, scholars etc. to reach to a conclusion. When the results were declared, Lord Vishnu accepted but Lord Brahma insulted Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva could not bear this insult and took a destructive form. He appeared in the manifestation of Lord Bhairav riding on a black dog carrying and carrying a danda. Therefore, he is also known by the name of "Dandadhipati".

This horrifying form of Lord Shiva terrified the demigods. Seeing the terrified form of Lord Shiva, Lord Brahma realised his mistake and apologized to him. On being endured by all the gods, saints and Lord Brahma himself, Lord Shiva calmed down.

Significance Of Bhairava Ashtami

Goddess Kalika is also worshipped along with Lord Bhairav nath on this day. Goddess Kali is worshipped in the same manner as Goddess Durga on the saptami of navratri.

Worshipping Lord Bhairav brings peace and harmony in the family, maintains health of the family members and protects them from getting affected by various diseases. By reading Bhairav tantrokta, Batuk Bhairav kawach, Kaal Bhairav Strot, Batuk Bhairav Brahma kawach etc., one gets relief from all sorts of troubles. The devotee gets freedom from all inauspicious deeds and ends the malefic effect of planets.
Happy Kalashtami and Kaal Bhairav Jayanti 2016!
