"everything happens for a reason?" Nature has no purpose or aim. It just hurtles along according to its own laws like tram out of control. Obviously there are no reasons for its actions. The theory of natural selection in evolution confirms that there is no purpose or reason to nature or life. It is all 'che sara sara, what will be will be" as in the kindergarten song or as more solemnly put in the Geetha "Sambavami yuge yuge" In fact assigning purpose or reason to nature is one of the most basic forms of superstition.
