Dear Mr. M.D.HEGDE,
I am regular follower of your mails.
The Nagalinga tree( Couroupita guianensis ) is a tropical one. It flowers annually. If you hold the flower vertically, the stamens will look like snake hood over a Lingam.
A tree may not grow in Manasarovar, the plant in the photo looks like a fern ( not a flowering plant).

Cannonball flower / Naga pushpam
The naga pushpam or nagalingapoo is the flower of the Naga lingam/ Cannon ball Tree. The tree is considered sacred and is often grown in Shiva temples in India. The flowers as you can see resemble the hood of a snake over a lingam and hence the name nagalingam. It is said to be the favourite flower of Lord Shiva.
