It all depends on who is taking the initiative to get her remarried. If it is her parents, then she has to follow the gothra of her parents and if the initiative is from her in laws side she has to follow the gothra accordingly. If it is a joint initiative, then it can be mutually decided or the girl should be allowed to make the choice.
