The simple jab that could cure glaucoma: Tiny pliable tube injected into the eye allows excess fluid to drain out to relieve pressure. 600,000 Britons suffer from glaucoma, a permanent narrowing of vision. Involves injecting drainage tube into eye to allow excess fluid to flow out.
