ek baat par bura maan liya,
Pyar mein zaruri hain thodi si nok jhok bhi,
tumne kaha, maine maan liya, yeh bhi koi baat hain,
Zindagi beet jaati hain sach ki talaash mein,
kisi se poocha aur jaan liya, yeh bhi koi baat hain
Rishto ka takaaza hain, len-den chalti rahe,
ehsaan par ehsaan liya, yeh bhi koi baat hain,
Gar ek zabaan hain, toh baat bhi ek hi ho,
mukar gaye phir thaan liya, yeh bhi koi baat hain,
Angutha na sahi kuch paise hi de dete
muft me humse gyaan liya, yeh bhi koi baat hain.
