What a JOKE? Malayalees are respected by every body, evry where in the world except people of Kerala for the last century. Probably Mr. Rajmrajm may NOT be knowing it. His BLUNDER STATEMENT is a blatant proof that he has NOT gone out of his village in Kerala. He is like a frog in the well. My personal request to Mr. Rajmrajm is once in a blue moon make an effort to go to other states and see for yourself, what these malayalees are doing there and what respect they are commanding in their society because of the Malayalee's good performance. For example I will narrate a story. I was working for a company in Mumbai during 60s. That comapny never recruited any malayalee in the factory there, because the company scared of communism & labour Unions. In the year 1965 the company decided to expand and for that they recruited a new Vice Presedent Technucal to head the factory . He happened to be a Bihari worked for few years in a company in Calcutta. Straight away he started recruiting Malayalees in every departments including the production departments. This has created displeasure in the Board of Directors who summoned this Vice president and questioned his motives. He point Blank replied that these malayalees are union minded and we the management should learn to live with these unions but what we need today is good and efficient workmen that you will get only from Malayalees, and this is my personal experience. By the end of 60s there were more than 50% Malayalees in our factory. Then Shiv Sena came made lots of problems and that is a history. Now you go to Gujarat, you will find millions of Malayalees settled down there comfortably. There are thousands of Malayalee business men who have come up from a small trading to factory owners which they cannot dream in Kerala. So Mr. Rajmrajm please heaven's sake do NOT under estimate Malayalees. These Malayalees are denied of dreaming of a good life in Kerala. The UN award which Mr. Oommen Chandy bagged was bagged by Mr. Narendra Modi 3 years back. His award was NOT for social work but for performance based Governance.
If for that matter, any Malayalee gets good certificate entry. the credit goes to the Kerala Government because these malayalees were driven out of State because of our inefficient Governments who ruled us for the last 65 years. NO SOUL will run away from his native place leaving his parents and near & dear without any solid reason. That reason is POVERTY & UNEMPLOYMENT. That is a stark reality.

Please don't say our malayalee community respected just because of our Chief minister visited. We are being respected due to our hard work, capacity to do jobs and sincerety and pls not because of visit of any useless politician from any parties.

മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ഉമ്മന്‍ചാണ്ടിയും മന്ത്രി കെ.സി. ജോസഫും ബഹ്റൈന്‍ തൊഴില്‍ മന്ത്രി ജമീല്‍ ഹുമൈദാനും ഇന്‍ഫര്‍മേഷന്‍ മന്ത്രി സമീറ റജബിനുമൊപ്പം സമാജം സ്വീകരണ സദസില്മനാമ: രണ്ട് മാസം കൊണ്ട് തീര്‍ക്കേണ്ട പരിപാടികള്‍ രണ്ട് ദിവസം കൊണ്ട് തീര്‍ത്ത് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ഉമ്മന്‍ ചാണ്ടി കേരളത്തിലേക്ക് തിരിച്ചുപോയപ്പോള്‍ യു.എന്നിന്‍െറയും ബഹ്റൈന്‍ ഭരണകൂടത്തിന്‍െറയും അംഗീകാരങ്ങള്‍ ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങിയ സംതൃപ്തിയിലാണ് മലയാളി സമൂഹം. ബഹ്റൈനിലെത്തിയാല്‍ ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് മുഖം കൊടുക്കാതെ പഞ്ചനക്ഷത്ര ഹോട്ടലുകളില്‍ അന്തിയുറങ്ങി രാത്രിയുടെ ഇരുണ്ട വെളിച്ചത്തില്‍ നടക്കുന്ന ഉന്നത യോഗങ്ങളിലും പാര്‍ട്ടികളിലും പങ്കെടുത്ത് തിരിച്ചുപോകുന്ന നേതാക്കളുടെ സമീപനത്തില്‍നിന്ന് വ്യത്യസ്തമായി സാധാരണക്കാരനെന്നൊ ഉന്നതനെന്നൊ വ്യത്യാസമില്ലാതെ ജനങ്ങളിലേക്ക് ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെന്ന് മാതൃക കാണിക്കാന്‍ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിക്കായി എന്നതാണ് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍െറ സന്ദര്‍ശനം വേറിട്ട അനുഭവമാക്കുന്നത്. യു.എന്‍ പുരസ്കാരം ലഭിച്ചത് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍െറ ജനസമ്പര്‍ക്ക പരിപാടിക്കാണ്. ജനസമ്പര്‍ക്ക പരിപാടിയെന്നാല്‍ ജനങ്ങളിലേക്ക് ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെന്ന് അവരുടെ പരാതികള്‍ക്കും പരിഭവങ്ങള്‍ക്കും നേരിട്ട് ചെവികൊടുക്കുകയെന്നതാണ്. ഈ അര്‍ഥത്തില്‍ തനിക്ക് ലഭിച്ച പുരസ്കാരം അന്വര്‍ഥമാണെന്ന് ബഹ്റൈന്‍ ഭരണകൂടത്തെയും യു.എന്‍ സാരഥികളെയും തെളിയിക്കുന്നത് കൂടിയായിരുന്നു മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയുടെ സന്ദര്‍ശനം. മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പങ്കെടുക്കുന്ന പരിപാടികളിലും പോകുന്ന വഴികളിലും അദ്ദേഹത്തെ കാണാനും സംസാരിക്കാനും നില്‍ക്കുന്ന ജനക്കൂട്ടത്തെ കണ്ട് പലപ്പോഴും സ്വദേശികളും വിദേശികളും അദ്ഭുതം കൂറുന്നത് കാണാമായിരുന്നു. ഈ ജനക്കൂട്ടത്തിനിടയില്‍ പാവപ്പെട്ടവനും ധനികനും വിവിധ രാഷ്ട്രീയ പാര്‍ട്ടിക്കാരും സംഘടനാ പ്രതിനിധികളും വിവിധ മതവിഭാഗങ്ങളിലുള്ളവരുമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.കേരളത്തില്‍നിന്ന് നിരവധി മന്ത്രിമാരും നേതാക്കളും ബഹ്റൈനില്‍ വന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. എന്നാല്‍, ഉമ്മന്‍ ചാണ്ടിയുടെ രണ്ട് ദിവസത്തെ സന്ദര്‍ശനം വ്യത്യസ്തമാകുന്നത് ഈ ജനകീയത തന്നെയാണ്. മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ബഹ്റൈന്‍ സന്ദര്‍ശിച്ചിട്ട് എന്ത് നേടിയെന്ന് ചോദിക്കുന്നവരുണ്ട്. എന്തെങ്കിലും നേട്ടമുണ്ടാക്കാനാല്ല, ജനസമ്പര്‍ക്ക പരിപാടിക്ക് ലഭിച്ച പുരസ്കാരം ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങാനാണ് അദ്ദേഹം ബഹ്റൈനിലെത്തിയത്. എന്നിട്ടും തന്‍െറ സന്ദര്‍ശനം ഉജ്ജ്വലമായ നയതന്ത്ര നീക്കമാക്കാന്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് സാധിച്ചു. ഒരു രാജ്യത്തിന്‍െറ പ്രസിഡന്‍റിനും പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിക്കും ലഭിക്കുന്ന സ്വീകരണവും അംഗീകാരവുമാണ് കേരളാ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിക്ക് ബഹ്റൈനില്‍ ലഭിച്ചതെന്നത് തന്നെയാണ് സന്ദര്‍ശനത്തിന്‍െറ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ നേട്ടം. രാജാവ് ഹമദ് ബിന്‍ ഈസാ ആല്‍ഖലീഫയെയും പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പ്രിന്‍സ് ഖലീഫ ബിന്‍ സല്‍മാന്‍ ആല്‍ഖലീഫയെയും കിരീടാവകാശി പ്രിന്‍സ് സല്‍മാന്‍ ബിന്‍ ഹമദ് ആല്‍ഖലീഫയെയും ഒറ്റദിവസം കൊണ്ട് കാണാനായതും ചര്‍ച്ച നടത്താനായതും യഥാര്‍ഥത്തില്‍ ബഹ്റൈനിലെ മലയാളി സമൂഹത്തിന് ലഭിച്ച അംഗീകാരമാണെന്ന് ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടപ്പെടുന്നു. ഇതിന് പുറമെ ബഹ്റൈന്‍ കേരളീയ സമാജത്തിന്‍െറ സ്വീകരണ വേദിയില്‍ പ്രവാസകളുമായി ഏറെ ബന്ധമുള്ള തൊഴില്‍ വകുപ്പിന്‍െറയും എല്‍.എം.ആര്‍.എയുടെയും ചുമതല വഹിക്കുന്ന മന്ത്രി ജമീല്‍ ഹുമൈദാനുമായും ഭരണകൂടത്തിന്‍െറ ഔദ്യാഗിക വക്താവും ഇന്‍ഫര്‍മേഷന്‍ മന്ത്രിയുമായ സമീറ റജബുമായും വേദി പങ്കിടാനും അവസരം ലഭിച്ചു. ഇതൊക്കെ മലയാളി പ്രവാസി സമൂഹത്തിന് ലഭിച്ച അംഗീകാരമായി വിലയിരുത്തപ്പെടുന്നു. മലയാളി സമൂഹത്തിന് ഭാവിയിലുണ്ടാകാനിടയുള്ള എന്ത് കാര്യത്തെക്കുറിച്ചും കേരള സര്‍ക്കാരിന് ഭരണകൂടവുമായി നേരിട്ട് ചര്‍ച്ച നടത്താനുള്ള വഴിയാണ് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയുടെ സന്ദര്‍ശനത്തിലൂടെ തുറക്കപ്പെട്ടത്. ഉമ്മന്‍ചാണ്ടിയെന്ന വ്യക്തിയല്ല, കേരളത്തിന്‍െറ ഭരണകൂടവും ബഹ്റൈനിലെ പ്രവാസി മലയാളികളുമാണ് യഥാര്‍ഥത്തില്‍ ഭരണകൂടത്തിന്‍െറ ആദരവ് പിടിച്ചുപറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. ജയിലില്‍ കഴിയുന്ന തടവുകാരുടെ പ്രശ്നം ഏറെ സങ്കീര്‍ണവും കെട്ടഴിക്കാന്‍ പറ്റാത്ത നിലയിലുമായിരുന്നു. തടവുകാരുടെ ബന്ധുക്കള്‍ നിവേദനങ്ങളുമായി കയറിയിറങ്ങാത്ത വാതിലുകളില്ല. പക്ഷേ, ഒറ്റ സന്ദര്‍ശനം കൊണ്ട് ഇക്കാര്യം കിരീടാവകാശിയുടെ ശ്രദ്ധയില്‍പ്പെടുത്താനും നിയമത്തിന്‍െറ പരിധിയില്‍നിന്നുകൊണ്ട് ചെയ്യാവുന്നതെല്ലാം ചെയ്യാമെന്ന് ഉറപ്പുവാങ്ങാനും കഴിഞ്ഞെന്നത് നിസാര കാര്യമല്ല. ഈ യാഥാര്‍ഥ്യങ്ങളൊന്നും മുന്നില്‍ കാണാതെ വഴിയോരങ്ങളിലെ പുറംകളികള്‍ പര്‍വതീകരിക്കുന്നതിനെതിരെ മലയാളി സമൂഹത്തിനിടയില്‍ പ്രതിഷേധം ഉയര്‍ന്നുകഴിഞ്ഞു.മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ചെയ്യേണ്ടത് ചെയ്തു. ഇനി, അദ്ദേഹംതന്നെ പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ കേരള സര്‍ക്കാരിന്‍െറയും ബഹ്റൈന്‍ ഭരണകൂടത്തിന്‍െറയും പ്രതീക്ഷക്കൊത്ത് ഉയരുകയെന്ന ഉത്തരവാദിത്തം ഇവിടുത്തെ മലയാളി സമൂഹത്തിന്‍െറതാണ്. രാജ്യത്തെ നിയമങ്ങള്‍ കര്‍ശനമായി പാലിച്ചുകൊണ്ടും ജോലികളില്‍ വിശ്വാസ്യത പൂര്‍ണമായും നിലനിര്‍ത്തിയും മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിക്കും മലയാളി സമൂഹത്തിനും ഭരണകൂടം നല്‍കിയ അംഗീകാരത്തിന് നന്ദി പ്രകാശിപ്പിക്കേണ്ട ബാധ്യത പ്രവാസികളെ ഏല്‍പിച്ചാണ് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി യാത്രയായിരിക്കുന്നത്. തമ്മില്‍ തല്ലിയും വിഴുപ്പലക്കിയും പരദൂഷണം പറഞ്ഞും ചരിത്രത്തില്‍ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തപ്പെട്ട മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയുടെ സന്ദര്‍ശനത്തിന്‍െറ നിറം കെടുത്തുന്ന, ബഹ്റൈന്‍ ഭരണകൂടത്തിന്‍െറ വിശ്വാസ്യത തകര്‍ക്കുന്ന പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളില്‍നിന്ന് മലയാളി സമൂഹം വിട്ടുനില്‍ക്കണമെന്നതാണ് പൊതുതാല്‍പര്യം.Courtesy:Madhyamam
