[www.keralites.net] Good Friday - It is FINISHED !!!

 

The phrase It is "FINISHED" is a priceless gift... When you understand it and need it... He left it for you. We struggle... We labor... We love unconditionally... we battle for right... and then stand back... and wonder WHAT has it all been for? The purpose... The reason... The good... WILL BE THERE... HE ALWAYS CARRIES IT THROUGH...     He grants us the use of His parting word... "It is finished" The STRUGGLE... the HEARTACHE... the LOAD we were carrying... Go directly to GOD... He does the FINISHING! It is finished, the battle is over.   My souls finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from HIM. HE alone is my rock and my salvation; HE is my fortress, I will never be shaken. Psalm 62:1-2 A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus's lips. When HE had received the drink, JESUS said, "It isfinished" With that , HE bowed HIS head and gave up HIS spirit. Now it was the day of Preparation , and the next day was to be a special Sabbath. Because the Jews did not want the bodies left on the crosses during the Sabbath, they asked Pilate to have the legs broken and the bodies taken down.
