| BSNL unveils Pyari Jodi plan |

Union Minister of State for Communications & Information Technology Sachin Pilot, on Thursday, launched Pyari Jodi (close pair) combining landline and mobile services of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). |
| Landline customers can now take free SIM card and make unlimited free local calls to his/her landline/WLL number. Customers can also call two BSNL local numbers at reduced rate of 20 paise per minute and one BSNL number anywhere in India at reduced rate of 30 paise per minute, without paying any additional monthly charges. On activation, a customer will also get Rs 15 talk value, 1,000 local SMS, 1,000 National SMS and 1,000 MB data free. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Pyari Jodi Plan was a boon to the BSNL customers, the Plan has now become Dukhi Jodi, by cut- shorting the Unlimited Free Talk time from Mobile to Landline , restricted to 30 minutes per day., recently. BSNL has never informed its customers about this change either by SMS or other Landline Alert. Like Petrolem Companies is BSNL also looting the public????? Nandakumar |
