Dear friends:
Lot of actions, reactions, views etc appeared in this forum about the controversial IDEA *SINGER 5. After reading all those I thought of expressing my views also.
Am not a regular follower of this IDEA *SINGER PRoGRAM, but happened to see the final so not a best person to judge who is the best singer. But listening to Mrudula, Emaunal and others it does not require any rocket science to say Kalpana is the worst singer. What did she sung on the final round; ;;; does anybody understand this so-called fusion as the great Yesudas commented. One should see the face of Chitra during this which clearly shows she did not like this "Fusion" . In a Malayalam program why should people sung Hindi, Tamil and other songs??. This is totally atrocious . If that is the case then rename this program to a multi-lingual, multi faceted dance & tapankuthu (as someone commented) program and allow anything to telecast. The organizers can add programs such as Bangra, Gujarati Garba, Rajasthani folk dance/music any dam thing they like. We, the great Malayalees should be ashamed to witness/listen to such masala programs.
Some of my friends commented about the facial expression of Kaplana & I full agree to that. What kind of expression she was making, it was not tension but greed to suceed and what not. She was more interested in speaking from the big list for her well wishers. Why her mother should ran to the stage and why the organizers allowed such a mad act. This was not a family event and I do agree about the emotional feelings they undergo, but there should be some limit to it. Dear organizers and floor managers please take note of all these.
As far as the great man, yesudas comment's, ohhh, is he going to be a preacher after signing career. What was he advocatining we common people do this and that & who gave him authority to speak like that. We admire his singing ability and it is said that not a single day is complete without listing to one of his songs. I am very sorry to say that he had spoiled his great admiration by expressing his nonsense views.. No further criticisms about him and will definitely say that I totally disagree to his speech, actions, comments and all those.
A further word to the so called great judges - mates - you all miserably failed on concluding your judgment properly; and thanks for making this program a great joking event.
For the hoist & co-hoist, dear friends please buy some good cloths and give to Ranjini so in future she do not show her unimpressive body to the world.
Lastly, for the organizers or the producers , and especially to Mr K Madavan MD of Asianet, pl keep some decorum on the program, have in place some dress code , restrict the host not to talk nonsense. It would be also better if you change to a person who can talk sweet Malayalam as we had enough of Ranjani's English-Malayalam. For your information all those developing & developed countries still prefer to use their own mother tongue why we should not use our mother tongue especially when this is a Malayalam channel & beaming Malayalam programs.
Dear Ranjini, we respect your English skills and MBA capabilities but do not overdose us with ur very unimpressive presesentation and be within your limits. Pl also try to improve your Malayalm vocabulary. I am sure there will be many people in Kerala who will voluntarliy do that for you.
I hope majority of our friends agreed to my views and therefdore if possible please bombard with mails to ASIANET expresing your unhappiness.
