Spinach Leaves Could Become Human Tissue Replacements! Scientists at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute have managed to do something incredible – they've managed to turn spinach leaves into functioning human heart tissues, in what may be the start of a revolution in the treatment of damaged organs. Read on to find out more about this astonishing scientific innovation... The process, which is known as tissue engineering, attempts to create functioning human tissue from cells in a laboratory. The end goal is to be able to replace human tissue and organs that fail due to disease, genetic errors or other reasons. Although scientists have created large-scale human tissue in a lab before, they haven't been able to implement a vascular network to supply the tissue with flowing blood, meaning that a big part of the tissue dies. In what appears to be a masterstroke, researchers took a spinach leaf, removed its plant cells and left a frame inside it made of cellulose. It's an ideal substance, because it's biocompatible and can be used in a wide variety of regenerative medicine applications, such as cartilage tissue engineering, bone tissue engineering and wound healing. The remaining cellulose frame was then bathed in human cells, which began to grow on the spinach leaf's veins. The next step was to send fluids and microbeads through the "tiny heart" structure, and surely enough, the researchers found that it flowed successfully. It's hoped that the technique can eventually be developed to form layers of healthy heart muscles, which heart attack patients would benefit from. The researchers admit that they have a long way to go, but they also said that the possibility to solve a host of problems currently limiting the tissue engineering field by adapting abundant plants that have been cultivated for thousands of years now exists.

The Story Of The Unimaginable Cruelty Behind China's Fur Industry! Before they are skinned, animals are pulled out of cages, thrown on the ground and bludgeoned to death. When the workers begin to cut the skin and the fur from the animal's limb, it kicks and writhes, gasping its final breaths before the worker stomps on the necks and the head of the animal. At least that's what happens to the animals who don't allow a clean cut to the workers. We are talking foxes, minks, rabbits, wolves, cats, dogs, basically, any animal whose fur will be of any value to the buyer. They are now more valuable than they ever were. Surrendered to fate, helpless mother animals, driven crazy from the rough handling in the incredibly small cages, have nowhere to hide while giving birth. They often end up killing their babies after delivering litters. Diseases and injuries everywhere, some even suffer anxiety-induced psychosis living in the cages and end up chewing on their own limbs and throwing themselves against the cage bars.   China is the world's largest exporter of fur. It accounts for more than half of the fur garments being imported into the United States. There are practically no regulations for handling of animals in these fur farms in China. There are also absolutely no penalties for the mental and physical abuse the fur animals are put through.   What undercover investigators from the Swiss Animal Protection/ EAST International found is hard to comprehend. Many animals are still struggling to stay alive when the workers flip them over on their backs or hang them up by their legs or tails before skinning them. Dead or alive. When their fur is finally peeled off, their bloody, hairless bodies are thrown onto a pile of many others rotting away. Some unfortunate ones, who are still alive after their skinning, breathe their final 5-10 minutes in agony. One of the investigators even recalls a raccoon in a heap of carcasses just finding enough strength to lift its bloodied head before breathing its last. Cats and dogs bludgeoned and hung by wire nooses bleed to their death in the full public's view at the animal market in China. Most of them not even strays. Many still with collars on are stolen from their loved ones to be made into a fur coat for the West. Their fur will be used for trinkets.   This fur is very often mislabelled as fur from other species to get a green light from regulatory bodies to be sent across the globe. All to be sold to unsuspecting customers in retail stores. Most of the cat or dog fur is mislabelled. If you're buying fur, there's no way to tell whose skin you're wearing. The only way you can make a difference and stop this unimaginable cruelty is by not wearing fur. Boycott fur, it comes at a cost.

Teaching-Vs-Drilling! Teaching is feeling the subject along with the students, friends, and colleagues and making it a part of the internal harmonic and hormonal communication. The meaning of the word college is collective and collaborative study. Teaching is a team work among all in the classroom, creating the synergic spirit, the spirit of breathing. The students also teach and often the teacher is taught. Finally the atmosphere in the classroom creates the breeze of the lesson. Drilling on the other hand is the elimination of all feeling for the subject and reducing it to the few precise mugged up and memorised marks spinning points. It is complete mechanization without any emotion or feeling. The so called teacher actually unteaches the subjects and bores and drills with the important marks spinning points. He creates aversion for the subject making the students yearn for freedom from the subject. The subject becomes the spirit killing bondage. The relationship with the subject becomes completely economic, escape from the subject being the holiday mainly from the subject. All need respite from the spiritless (airless), classroom. Spirit means the air one breathes. In a spirited teaching, the air becomes part of the lesson which harmonizes the breathing of all leading to a collective breathing—the Pranayama of the classroom. Drilling on the other hand is shouting the lesson that eliminates the spirit. There is more exhaling than inhaling. The shouting dis-spirits, often creating feelings of inferiority among the pupils. Why understanding is actually is related to one's spirit for the lesson. As spirit means air, the lesson itself becomes the breathe for breathing or learning. We must remember that once we all depended totally on breathing and smelling for communication. We breathed communications from the biosphere, ecosphere via the troposphere. The air was filled with understanding. Even today the best teaching is feeling which is actually breathing. Now along with the routinized murder of nature for economic growth, the very air fit for teaching is eliminated. The fumes that spew must be blocked from breathing. The breathing has no learning. SO WE GET PLASTIC PHAMPLETS ADVERTISING THE HUGE MARKS SCORED BY THE DENS EUPHEMIZED AS SCHOOLS AND INVITING THE PARENTS TO EMBED THEIR CHILDREN FOR GETTING DRILLED.AS THE MOTIVE IS TOTALLY ECONOMIC, EVERY DEN HAS SPECIALIZED IN FLEECING. The parents complain against the fleecing but the DEOs, who get standardized bribes, always wink to the Fleecers. The bribe amounts are customized and protests from the parents only increase the bribe amounts as there is more risk.
