Teaching is feeling the subject along with the students, friends, and colleagues and making it a part of the internal harmonic and hormonal communication. The meaning of the word college is collective and collaborative study. Teaching is a team work among all in the classroom, creating the synergic spirit, the spirit of breathing. The students also teach and often the teacher is taught. Finally the atmosphere in the classroom creates the breeze of the lesson.

Drilling on the other hand is the elimination of all feeling for the subject and reducing it to the few precise mugged up and memorised marks spinning points. It is complete mechanization without any emotion or feeling. The so called teacher actually unteaches the subjects and bores and drills with the important marks spinning points. He creates aversion for the subject making the students yearn for freedom from the subject. The subject becomes the spirit killing bondage. The relationship with the subject becomes completely economic, escape from the subject being the holiday mainly from the subject. All need respite from the spiritless (airless), classroom.

Spirit means the air one breathes. In a spirited teaching, the air becomes part of the lesson which harmonizes the breathing of all leading to a collective breathing—the Pranayama of the classroom.

Drilling on the other hand is shouting the lesson that eliminates the spirit. There is more exhaling than inhaling. The shouting dis-spirits, often creating feelings of inferiority among the pupils.

Why understanding is actually is related to one's spirit for the lesson. As spirit means air, the lesson itself becomes the breathe for breathing or learning.

We must remember that once we all depended totally on breathing and smelling for communication. We breathed communications from the biosphere, ecosphere via the troposphere. The air was filled with understanding. Even today the best teaching is feeling which is actually breathing.

Now along with the routinized murder of nature for economic growth, the very air fit for teaching is eliminated. The fumes that spew must be blocked from breathing. The breathing has no learning.

SO WE GET PLASTIC PHAMPLETS ADVERTISING THE HUGE MARKS SCORED BY THE DENS EUPHEMIZED AS SCHOOLS AND INVITING THE PARENTS TO EMBED THEIR CHILDREN FOR GETTING DRILLED.AS THE MOTIVE IS TOTALLY ECONOMIC, EVERY DEN HAS SPECIALIZED IN FLEECING.

The parents complain against the fleecing but the DEOs, who get standardized bribes, always wink to the Fleecers. The bribe amounts are customized and protests from the parents only increase the bribe amounts as there is more risk.
