Those who have interest in these creations, will buy and read, as well as they will see this picture. Others will stay away from these items. Whatever it may be , this book got a fourth edition within a month.The publisher and writer haven't any shame in doing this. Instead they got ample money. similarly Swetha Menon, her film producer and directer etc will get a good dividend.The immature new generations and even a good part of the present generation will certainly go for it.The society may get an implication.

What we understand is that the entire episode on the actress's delivery is a publicity stund to make the film a boxoffice hit. In fact there will not be any thing vulgar in the film as most of us think. Hence one should not be much excited about it. The director is wise enough to show only senes essential to make his film an artistic marval. For the time being people can imagine many things to satisfy their phantasies. Seeing is blieving and not speculations. So far the director has succeded in marketing the film in a big way. Anticipating emotional explosions from many corners.

സിനിമ കലയാണ്. സങ്കല്പങ്ങളെ യാഥാര്‍ത്ഥ്യമാണെന്ന് തോന്നിപ്പിക്കുംപോലെ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നിടത്താണ് കലാകാരന്റെ വിജയം. അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു നടിയുടെ പ്രസവം ചിത്രീകരിച്ചു സിനിമയെടുക്കുന്നതിന്റെ ഉദ്ദേശം എന്താണെന്ന് എനിക്കു മനസിലായിട്ടില്ല. ഡോക്യുമെന്ററിയാണെങ്കില്‍ അവിടെ കഥയും കഥാപാത്രവുമല്ല. യാഥാര്‍ത്ഥ്യമാണ് ക്യാമറയില്‍ പകര്‍ത്തുക. എന്നാല്‍ സിനിമ തികച്ചും കലാസൃഷ്ടിയാണ്. പ്രസവം എന്ന പ്രതിഭാസത്തെ സിനിമയുടെ സാങ്കേതിക സാധ്യതകളുപയോഗിച്ച് പ്രേക്ഷകരുടെ മുന്നിലെത്തിക്കാന്‍ സംവിധായകന് കഴിയും. പിന്നെ ഇതിന്റെ ഉദ്ദേശം ശാസ്ത്രീയ അവബോധം വളര്‍ത്തുക എന്നതാണെങ്കില്‍ അത് മെഡിക്കല്‍ വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികള്‍ക്കാണ് പ്രയോജനപ്പെടുക. സാധാരണ പൊതുസമൂഹത്തിന് അതിന്റെ ആവശ്യമുണ്ടെന്നു തോന്നുന്നില്ല. മാത്രമല്ല, ഈയൊരു ലക്ഷ്യത്തിന് അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന വ്യക്തിയുടെ പ്രസവംതന്നെ ചിത്രീകരിക്കണമെന്നില്ല. സിനിമ പൊതുജനമാധ്യമമാണ്. സമൂഹത്തിന് ആവശ്യമില്ലാത്തത് ഇത്തരമൊരു മീഡിയയില്‍ക്കൂടി അടിച്ചേല്‍പ്പിക്കേണ്ട ആവശ്യമുണ്ടോയെന്ന് കലാകാരന്‍ ചിന്തിക്കേണ്ട കാര്യമാണ്. ഇതിനു സമ്മതംകൊടുത്തതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു അഭിപ്രായം പറയാന്‍ ഞാന്‍ ആളല്ല. കാരണം അത് അവരുടെ സ്വാതന്ത്യ്രമാണ്.

എന്തു കാണണം എന്തു കാണേണ്ട എന്നു തീരുമാനിക്കാനുള്ള അവകാശം ജനത്തിനുണ്ട്. അതുപോലെ ഏതു റോള്‍ ചെയ്യണമെന്ന് തീരുമാനിക്കാനുള്ള അവകാശം ശ്വേതാമേനോനുമുണ്ട്. ഏതു വേഷവും ചെയ്യാന്‍ മടിയില്ലാത്ത ഒരു അഭിനേത്രിയാണ് ശ്വേതാ മേനോന്‍ എന്ന് അവര്‍ ഇതിനുമുമ്പ് തെളിയിച്ചതുമാണ്. അവരുടെ ആഭാസനൃത്തം കണ്ട് ആസ്വദിച്ചവര്‍ ഇപ്പോള്‍ വിമര്‍ശിക്കുന്നതു ശരിയല്ല. അവരുടെ പ്രൊഫഷന്‍ അഭിനയമാണ്. പ്രസവം എന്ന പ്രക്രിയയെ കാശാക്കിമാറ്റാന്‍ അവര്‍ തീരുമാനിച്ചെങ്കില്‍ അത് അവരുടെ സ്വാതന്ത്യ്രം. ചിത്രീകരിച്ച രീതി എങ്ങനെയാണെന്ന് നമുക്കറിയില്ല. അവരുടെ ലൈംഗിക അവയവങ്ങള്‍ കാണാത്ത രീതിയിലാണ് ചിത്രീകരിച്ചതെങ്കില്‍ തെറ്റുപറയാനൊന്നുമില്ല. മാത്രമല്ല, നവജാതശിശുവിന് ദോഷം സംഭവിക്കുന്ന ലൈറ്റുകളൊന്നും ഉപയോഗിക്കാനുള്ള സാധ്യതയില്ല. മെഡിക്കല്‍ എത്തിക്സുമായി യോജിച്ചുകൊണ്ടല്ലാതെ ഇത്തരമൊരു രംഗം ഷൂട്ട് ചെയ്യാനാവില്ല.

പബ്ളിക്കായി ഇങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ട് ആര്‍ക്ക് എന്ത് ഗുണമാണുള്ളതെന്ന് മനസിലാവുന്നില്ല. പ്രസവം എന്നത് പുതിയ കാര്യമല്ല. പ്രസവത്തിന്റെ ശാസ്ത്രീയവശങ്ങള്‍ എല്ലാവര്‍ക്കുമറിയാം. പോപ്പുലാരിറ്റിക്കുവേണ്ടിയുള്ള കാട്ടിക്കൂട്ടലാണിത്. ഇവിടെ ബ്ളസി എന്ന സംവിധായകന്റെ പരാജയമാണ് സംഭവിക്കുന്നത്. ജീവിതത്തിലെ യാഥാര്‍ത്ഥ്യങ്ങള്‍ പച്ചയായി ചിത്രീകരിച്ചല്ലല്ലോ പ്രേക്ഷകരില്‍ വികാരം ജനിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. കലയുടെ സാധ്യത ഉപയോഗിച്ചാണ്. എത്രയോ സിനിമകളില്‍ എത്രയോ പ്രസവങ്ങള്‍ നാം കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. പ്രസവത്തിന്റെ വേദനയും സങ്കീര്‍ണ്ണതയുമൊക്കെ നമുക്കു മനസിലാവുന്നുമുണ്ട്. പിന്നെയെന്തിനാണ് ശ്വേതാമേനോന്റെ പ്രസവം ക്യാമറയില്‍ പകര്‍ത്തുന്നത്? അതിലെ ദുരുദ്ദേശം ആര്‍ക്കാണ് മനസിലാവാത്തത്?

മഴവില്‍ മനോരമയിലെ 'വെറുതെയല്ല ഭാര്യ' യില്‍ അവതാരകയായെത്തുമ്പോള്‍ ശ്വേത ഒരു കുഞ്ഞിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ചിന്തിച്ചിട്ടുപോലുമുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല. കരിയറിലായിരുന്നു ശ്രദ്ധ. ഞങ്ങളുടെയൊക്കെ കുട്ടികളെ കാണുമ്പോള്‍ ശ്വേത ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുന്നത് കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. കുടുംബത്തിന്റെ ഊഷ്മളത അവര്‍ മനസിലാക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. പിന്നീടറിഞ്ഞു ഗര്‍ഭിണിയായെന്ന്. ഞങ്ങളെല്ലാവരുംകൂടി അത് ആഘോഷിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. പ്രസവത്തിനായി ലീവില്‍ പോകുംവരെ ഞങ്ങളൊന്നിച്ചുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഞങ്ങളെപ്പോലുള്ള കേരളത്തിലെ സ്ത്രീകളില്‍നിന്നും തികച്ചും വ്യത്യസ്തയാണ് ശ്വേതയെന്ന് എനിക്കു തോന്നിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഞങ്ങളുടെ മുന്നില്‍വച്ചാണ് അവര്‍ ഒരു സങ്കോചവുമില്ലാതെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഭര്‍ത്താക്കന്മാരെ കെട്ടിപ്പിടിച്ചത്. അതില്‍ എന്തെങ്കിലും ദുരുദ്ദേശമുള്ളതായി തോന്നിയിട്ടേയില്ല. വളരെ സ്വതന്ത്രമായിട്ടാണ് അവര്‍ ഇടപെട്ടിരുന്നത്. അതുപോലെയൊന്നും ആവാന്‍ നമുക്കാവില്ല. പ്രസവം ക്യാമറയില്‍ പകര്‍ത്തിയ കാര്യവുംഅതുപോലെയാണ്. ശ്വേതയ്ക്കു മാത്രമേ അതിനു കഴിയൂ. കാണുന്നവരുടെ കാഴ്ചപ്പാടിനനുസരിച്ചാണ് ഇത് വിലയിരുത്തപ്പെടുക. ട്രെയിനില്‍വച്ച് കുഞ്ഞിനു മുല കൊടുക്കാന്‍ വിഷമിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള അമ്മമാര്‍ എത്രയോയുണ്ട്. കാരണം പറയേണ്ടല്ലോ. സ്ത്രീയുടെ മൃതശരീരത്തെപ്പോലും ലൈംഗികമായി ഉപയോഗിച്ചവരെക്കുറിച്ച് വാര്‍ത്തയില്‍ വായിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ജനം പലവിധമാണല്ലോ. സിനിമ കാണുന്നവരില്‍ എല്ലാവരും പെടും. ചിലര്‍ അശ്ളീലം ആസ്വദിക്കുംപോലെയും അത് ആസ്വദിക്കും.
