India is a big country with a huge population and a diverse culture. For a country like ours decentralization is the ideal. Instead, we have a highly centralized system where most of the power lies with the center. This is because we inherited the centralized system of the British colony. If it were not for the British, there would have been at least 50 states or independent countries in India with Kerala alone accounting for three countries or states.
Even the US with a highly homogeneous culture and language is more decentralized than India, with each state having its own constitution and flag. If they can do it why cant we have a more decentralized structure?
Sri Lanka which is only a quarter of the size of Kerala in area and population can make their own decisions independently. If even small states like Sri Lanka can do it, why cant Kerala make its own decision on how to handle the pandemic? If Kerala can do it why cant Bengal do it?
It is better in their own interests that the states cooperate with  each other and with the center. That does not mean that the states are subordinates to the center and obey the orders of the center.

THINGS TO CONSIDER

The West Bengal government is doing UTTER mismanagement of the virus issue. She is NOT closing down certain areas where tablighis were found and closing down adjoining areas instead. She is NOT testing in spite of having enough kits. She is HIDING/DISTORTING death numbers. In short she is doing everything possible to NOT bring to light the issue in Bengal. So Bengal is praying that it has high immunity.

Under the circumstances, I am very eager to know what is available in alternative medicine to boost immunity rather than treat the disease and also want to know availability given that borders are sealed and will be so for a while. What I gathered from videos is that praan mudra helps in this. So I'm doing that and also anulom vilom. I have access to haldi, ginger, yashthimadhu, my tulsi plant isnt doing too good so i;m not taking from there but there are other sources that i can get it from. but that's about it.

WHY ALTERNATIVE MEDICINES NOT PROMOTED

If anyone has any ideas about mudras  and asanas that can boost immunity, please help. It will be much appreciated.

I think, in India, we are so ashamed of our traditional medicines that we refuse to acknowledge that they can be better choices over allopathy. If govt had picked any ayurvedic treatment, the leftist vultures would have arrived on the scene to make fun of hindus & govt just like they regularly do on gau mutra & panchgavya despite them proving effective for cancer.

Its our shame on our heritage due to which we are not ready to accept our traditional way of living & treatment. Despite it being proven that ayurvedic treatments improve quality of life.
